When we got back to the studio, I let Christine and Rob out, I asked Matt to stay behind.
"Look, I'm so serious, I'm sorry," I said, grabbing his hand. He unbuckled and leaned on his side.
"Essie, you don't have to be sorry. We needed to yell at each other. We needed to get it out," he said.
"I know but... I still feel bad," I said.
"Don't be," he moved the hair out of my face.
"Now can I get you some dinner tonight?" He asked.
"Sure," I said.
"Okay. We'll get outta here at six," he said.
"Okay," he squeezed my hand and led me inside. The boys that were left ooed when we walked in, holding hands.
"Essie, Essie, guess what?" Christine walked up to me.
"Hmm?"
"Rob just asked me to dinner tonight."
"Matt asked me out tonight too!"
We both screamed.
"Okay we have to promise to never do that again," I said.
"Okay. Where's he taking you?"
"Don't know. He said we're getting outta here at 6."
"See Essie, it's not that bad. You really like him. And he really likes you. It'll be just like old times," she said.
"You and Rob are adorable though."
"No."
"Yes, you are. Y'all are so cute, holding hands and flirting."
"Okay fine."
"Can I get Mickey Rourke, Tommy Howell and Matt Dillon up here?"
