"So..." I said. Matt leaned back in the chair and smiled.

"New York been treatin you right?" I asked. He chuckled.

"Yeah I guess," he said. He took me to some local steakhouse we never heard of. And people there obviously heard of Matt Dillon because they were coming up left and right to ask for his signature.

"So why," he took a sip of water, "are you on the set of this thing? I thought your parents would've been over this by now."

"To be honest, I think they forgot about me."

"I don't know. You're pretty special. And after what you did, oh, they wouldn't forget you!"

"I got drunk, Matt! I didn't have sex with a Russian porn star!"

"I really don't understand your parents."

"Me neither."

"Why are you on the set of the outsiders?"

"Susie asked me to."

"I know, but what are you doing? Like are you serving food?"

"I'm helping with makeup, costume, I'll be sitting with Susie and Francis and I'm the nurse on the set."

"Since when are you a certified nurse?"

"I'm not. I've done numerous nursing courses and they don't have it in the budget to get someone as a nurse. So I'm here and if anything's too extreme, we take you to the hospital."

"Well, I plan on doing my own stunts."

"Maybe we should get a nurse," I laughed.

"I missed you, Essie," he said.

"What have you been doing since you left?"

"Okay," he leaned forward, "you won't believe Vegas at night. I've been in Vegas. You should come with me one night and just see the lights."

"It's pretty?"

"It's amazing. The lights are what makes it worth while," he said. I smiled.

"I missed you too, Matt," I said. Someone else came up for an autograph.

"Here you go," he said before she ran away.

"Is there anyone you want to see again on the set?"

"Yeah. I like that Rob guy. And Tommy. And you know I love Emilio."

"What about Cruise?"

"Eh," he said.

"I'm personally a fan of Tommy," I said.

"Yeah he likes you."

"Yeah, no."

"He was talking to Rob. Cruise likes Christine."

"No, no. I got you," he touched my hand.

Another girl came up. I waited until she was gone to get up.

"Where you going, Essie?" He said.

"It's annoying. Can we just go back to my room or your room?"

"Come on, Essie. Sit down."

"Matt, I'm a little annoyed."

"Ok, ok. You go to my car I'll take care of everything." I got to the car and waited for him. Minutes later he came out and started to drive to his hotel.

"I just need to make a phone call before I go up," I said. He nodded and kissed the top of my head before unlocking the car and getting out. I found a pay phone in the lobby and called Christine.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Christine," I said.

"Essie! Oh my gosh! I need to tell you all about my date with Rob."

"Okay."

"He took me to this fancy restaurant and then brought me for ice cream. And we shared a milkshake and he was saying he likes spending time with me and he asked to go out tomorrow and he's so nice and he kissed me on the cheek and I really like him."

"Congratulations, Christine."

"What's wrong, Essie?"

"We fought again," I said.

"About what?"

"Well I really started it. He's just really shrugging it off. All these girls came to get his autograph and I became annoyed."

"Aw, I'm sorry, Essie."

"But I'm at his hotel now and he's waiting for me upstairs."

"Upstairs?"

"Yes."

"As in his room?"

"Yes."

"His bed?"

"I don't know."

"Okay. Have fun."

"You too. Tell Rob I say hi," I said.

"Hi, Essie!" I heard Rob yell. I laughed and hung up.
