Chapter: 25

Britney's POV

I got to hang out with Victoria and McKenzie, to get to know them a little bit better. Turns out Victoria loves to make vines and we made a couple.

I told Matt and Carter we were going to have a girls day so we went to the mall. They were all out back swimming and grilling out when we left.

I got into my car and started to drive towards the mall.

Once the mall started to get clearer and clearer I found the nearest parking garage to park in. I pulled up to the parking toll.

"How many hours." The girl who looked around 17 said not making eye contact with me and smacking her gum and typing on her keyboard.

"Ummm." I looked at the girls and they shrugged.

"Two." Victoria mouthed and Mckenzie nodded.

"Two, please." I said politely and smiled.

She looked at me with no expression. "50 dollars." She began typing again.

Victoria and Mckenzie looked confused and looked at me.

"Oh, there must be a misunderstanding." I told her and she just stared at me.

"No, there must not be. 50 dollars." She said mimicking my tone.

"Okay, look, I'm trying so hard not to tell your ass off right now. My brother is Cameron Dallas and he called to reserve, pay, and keep this spot for me." I said trying so hard not to sound bitchy but it didn't work.

She laughed. "Hah. Your brother isn't Cameron Dallas. He's too hot. And you're too not."

I opened my mouth to speak and Mckenzie, who was in the passenger seat, spoke up.

"Actually, miss know-it-all bitch. She is Cameron Dallas' sister. She's also Matthew's girlfriend, and her mom is a famous business woman. So you can take that gum, and use it to stick it to close your legs shut because it's starting to smell." She said putting the emphasis on smell.

The girl looked at me and rolled her eyes while Victoria was laughing in the back seat.

I smiled and she basically threw the key card at me.

"Whatever." She scoffed and opened the gate.

I parked the car and we walked into the mall.

We walked into Journeys! and I bought vans, Mckenzie bought bought a shirt, and Victoria bought 2 t-shirts and vans.

I needed new sweatpants and leggings so Victoria said we should go into Victoria Secret.

I bought two sweatshirts, a new backpack, 3 leggings, and a couple pair of sweatpants.

Victoria and Mckenzie got about the same thing.

"OMG! You're Britney right?!" A girl came up to me and screamed.

"Yeah. That's me." I said smiling at her.

A girl with a slight limp was about to say something to me when the perky girl pushed her out of the way.

The girl gasped while she fell and she couldn't really get back up.

The perky girl looked at her, shrugged, and positioned her phone to take a picture with me.

"Um. Excuse me. No selfies right now." I told her and she looked surprised.

I knelt down towards the girl and I smiled at her.

"Are you okay?" I asked her.

Her phone lit up and a picture of Shawn came up as her backround.

She nodded and slowly stood up.

I picked up her phone and she took it.

"You like Shawn Mendes?" I asked her.

She nodded really fast. "Yes! He's my inspiration!"

I looked over at Mckenzie and she nodded.

"Can I ask you something? Or tell you something?" She asked.

"Sure." I said politely.

"Well my name is Kalina. But you can call me Kali. And I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer about 2 years ago. And I was on my bed and I could hear doctors tell my parents that I wasn't going to make it. I couldn't see anything so I figured I was dying. I could a hear a voice singing. But I didn't know who's. My parents starting yelling my name and crying. It was blurry and I could barely see. I felt my mom's hands on my face. I could see everyone in the room say my name. They were happy. And doctors said they saved me last minute. And I still didn't know who's the voice was. It was a long month before everything was kinda back to normal and I found vine. I was scrolling through my news feed and someone revined a singing post. I watched it and it was him. Shawn Mendes. He was singing the exact song I heard on my hospital bed. And ever since that I've always dreamed of meeting him and he's always been my favorite. My hair finally grew back. I was really surprised it did. And yeah. Thank you so much for listening to my story." She finished and smiled at me.

"Well thank you for telling me." I said looking behind her. "So you said your dream was to meet Shawn, Kali?"

"Yes! A thousand times yes. But I know that's probably not going to happen." She said starting to look a little glum.

Mckenzie, Victoria, and I all started smiling and Kali looked confused.

"Don't speak too soon."

She turned around and started crying.

"Oh my gosh. I love you so much." She said hugging him.

"I love you too." He said hugging her and he said he'd follow her on twitter and instagram.

She took pictures with him and he caught up with us.

He put his arm around me. "I'm glad you're my bestfriend."

With that we walked out of the mall and into my car.

Once we got to the house I walked in excited to see Matt.

"Britney!" Matt yelled from behind me.

"Matt." I said smiling.

"What is this?!" He yelled shoving his phone in my face.
