Chapter 14

Jack Johnson's POV

GG looked so gorgeous at Britney's birthday party. I really like her, I really do. She just seems like she doesn't like me back. Her smile can brighten up the darkest room and her hazel eyes are so pretty. There are literally no words to describe them.

I'm going to get the balls today to ask her to hang out with me. I hope she does say yes.

Jack and I after Britney's party left back for Nebraska.

God. It's literally nothing but soy and corn. Like what the hell is this?

I found out GG and Mikaela live here too. That's a coincidence. Right?

I finally got dressed and walked down stairs to say goodbye to my mom.

"Bye mom. Going to Jacks." I said grabbing a banana.

"Alright, dear. Have fun." Mom replied.

I opened the door and the warm breeze hit me.

I looked down at what I was wearing : basketball shorts and a hoodie. I need to change. I only wore a hoodie because my mom said it was cold yesterday.

I threw my hoodie on the porch and started walking to Jacks.

I swear Mother Nature is on her period constantly.

Nebraska is basically the only state where you can have a snow day, go swimming outside, and have a tornado warning all in one week.

I didn't even bother knocking. I walked in, went to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of orange juice and sat on the couch.

"Hey bro." Jack said while drying his hair with a towel.

"Sup." I said nodding.

"Heading over to Mikaela's. Want to come?" He asked.

I shook my head. "No. I'll stay." I said. I want GG to be there so I can ask her.

He rolled his eyes. "GG will be there." He added smirking.

My eyes lit up.

"What are we waiting for? Let's go." I said dumping my juice and walking out the door.

I heard him laugh behind me while I started running.

I looked behind me and didn't see Jack.

"Over here." Jack said waving in the opposite direction where I was.

I caught up with him and we started walking to her house.

We arrived after about 10 minutes or so of walking.

He knocked on the door and shortly Mikaela answered it.

"Hey." She said smiling at Jack.

"Hey cutie." Jack said in response.

"GG is in the living room." Mikaela told me with out taking her eyes off Jack.

I brushed beside them and found the living room.

GG was laying down on the couch watching a movie. It looked like Mirrors. I saw that movie about 1,000 times. I waited until a scary part and went behind the couch. Once I heard the music get louder I jumped on the couch.

She screamed. The look on her face was priceless.

I started laughing and she smacked me.

"Not funny!" She yelled at me.

"You gotta admit that was funny." I told her.

"You are such an ass!" She remarked.

"I know." I said laughing harder.

"Dick." She rolled her eyes.

After I finishes laughing I looked at her.

She was already staring at me while slightly smiling.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing. You just have really pretty eyes."

"Well thank you. These pretty eyes see a very pretty girl." I smirked.

She blushed.

"Would you like to go on a date with me?" I asked.

Shit...that sounded WAY too forward.

"I'd love to." she said smiling.

"Great. Tonight at 8?" I asked.

"Sounds great." She smiled.

"I'll pick you up at 8 then." I said getting up.

"Alright." She said also standing up.

I wrapped my arms around her and she hugged back.

We released and went upstairs to see Mikaela and Jack in Mikaela's room kissing.

GG opened her mouth to stop them but I covered her mouth with my hand.

"I have a plan." I whispered.

She nodded while followed me into the kitchen.

"Do you have duct tape?" I asked her.

"I think she has some in her junk drawer." She said rummaging through a drawer.

She found the duct tape and I told her the plan.

She smirked and nodded.

GG's POV

Jack finally asked me on a date. I can't stop smiling.

Jack asked me if Mikaela had any duct tape, which she does.

I grabbed it and he told me the plan.

I smirked and nodded.

We walked quietly up he stairs and I front of Mikaela's room. I'm surprised they didn't see us.

"1....2....3" Jack whispered.

When he said "3" we ran in and took both rolls of duct tape and rolled them around their heads a good 6 times.

"HAH. Now you guys are stuck together!" Jack yelled and I started laughing.

It was even better because Gilinsky had his hands on Mikaela's cheeks. So their even more screwed.

Jack started laughing with me and they couldn't get up or pull away.

Gilinsky started to say something but it was muffled and blocked by Mikaela's lips and the tape.

His phone beeped and there was a text on it.

He looked at it and stood up.

"Alright. I gotta go, don't untie them yet. My mom wants me home for lunch." He said hugging me.

"I won't." I said hugging back and laughing.

"Bye GG." He said smiling.

"Bye Jack." I said smiling.

He left and I watched Jack and Mikaela struggle for a while.

"You guys are idiots." I said rolling my eyes.

I started to leave the room and Jack and Mikaela "yelled".

"What? I can't understand you." I said laughing.

I walked out of the room and into the kitchen to grab some food.

Jack will be picking me up in 8 hours.

That means I have 7 1/2 hours to plan what I'm going to wear.

Great.

He's perfection.
