We are currently waiting for our parents. After eating our lunch with our friends we bid our goodbye first and went directly to NAIA
Ang sabi sa akin nila Mommy 3 pm raw ang dating nila while ang parents naman ni Timothy ay 2:45 pm ang estimated arrival.
Kanina ko pa siya kinukulit na pagdating ng parents niya ay pwede naman na mauna na sila para makapagpahinga agad. Hindi na rin naman nila kailangan hintayin sila Mommy at Daddy since susundo rin sila Kuya Leander.
Pero he insisted on waiting, he said that it's only polite to do that and his pushing that his parents will think so too.
I was fidgeting with my fingers while checking the time. Kinakabahan akong makita ng parents ni Timothy. First time kong makikita sila ngayon, si Janine palang yung namimemeet ko, his sister.
Tinignan ko ng masama si Timothy sa tabi ko dahil siya ang dahilan kung bakit kinakabahan ako.
Sabi ko naman kasi na maghiwalay na kami, hintayin niya parents niya and I'll wait for mine. Pero hinawakan niya ang kamay ko at nagpupumilit na ipapakilala niya ako tapos hihintayin pa raw nila sila Mommy.
"Timothy, I still think it will be more formal if we meet later at dinner" I try to convince him one more time but he just smirked at me and shakes his head
"They're already excited to meet you and I promised them that you will be with me when I pick them up" I became more nervous because of what he said
What if his parents didn't like me?
Of course they must know what I did to Timothy. I left him so many times already and I don't know what they think about me
I'm just praying that my parents to arrive earlier than his. Sana madelay yung flight. Kinakabahan kasi ako!
I continued playing with my fingers and tapping my foot to ease my nervousness. He seems to notice so he grabbed both of my hand and smiled at me
"Calm down, aight? They will not eat you" he chuckled at what he said but I just scowl at him
He can't blame me if I'm this nervous
Maya-maya lang rin ay dumating na sila Kuya. It's already 2:55 pero wala pa ang parents ni Timothy.
He looked at his watched, worry etched on his face
"Maybe their flight got delayed" I console him
Medyo naguilty tuloy ako. Nagbibiro lang naman ako nung inisip ko na sana madelay yung flight ng parents niya. Now he looks really worried.
"Magtatanong lang ako dun" tumango ako at umalis muna siya
"They're here" tumayo si Kuya Paris at sinundan namin siya ni Kuya Leander
And he's right. Our parents are here!
I can't help but smile when I saw them, I excitedly ran towards them and envelop them in a tight hug
They both chuckled and hugged me back
"I missed you both" I said after letting go
"Oh, we missed you too, princess" Mom said then gave me a peck on my cheek
"How was your flight?" Kuya Paris asked after getting our parents stuff
"It was fine but really tiring, maybe it's because we're getting old" I smiled at Dad's joke
