"Eomma, I have to get on the train now... Yes... Of course. Yes. Okay, I have to go, yes, okay, bye!" Kang Seulgi quickly hung up the phone and ran as fast as her dancers legs could take her. Straight, dark hair whipped her cheeks as she pushed through the crowded station, earning glares of annoyance. Not that she noticed, at the speed she was going.
When she was finally sat on her plush red seat in the high-speed train to Seoul, she began to catch her breath. The doors closed right on her first breath, and she knew it was close call to missing her ride to the next two years or so of her life. Panting, she tilted her head backwards heavily and hit something with a thud.
More like, hit someone.
"Ow." Seulgi said to herself as she rubbed the back of her head. Turning around, she met eyes with a very annoyed blond. "Sorry."
"You should be." Is all he replied with before rolling his eyes and turning back. "Careless bitch." He mumbled to himself, thinking that she wouldn't hear.
Oh, she did though.
Ouch, rude, she thought, blowing her bangs out of her eyes.
The rest of the hour ride was spent with their heads far apart, and a lot of awkward eye contact. Every single time there was eye contact, the blond would either glare at her as if they had been arch nemesis' for their entire lives, instead of having just met. She only got about a total of two seconds sleep when she wasn't worrying about the boy killing her.
By the end of the ride, the brunette was all in for getting off the train and catching the bus to her new apartment.
As soon as the train pulled to a halt, Seulgi was at the bus station before you could spell noodle. Desperate to get settled into her new apartment and to meet her new room mate, her foot tapped impatiently on the light concrete as the bus pulled up. Scanning her surroundings, she wanted to remember the first time she set foot in Seoul; the beginning of her journey. Unfortunately, she spotted something she didn't want to see.
The blond.
"Ugh." She rolled her eyes. No harm, he must just be heading to wherever he needs to go. Stepping on the bus, she plugged in her earphones and began listening to music as the bus roared off.
It reached her stop in 20 minutes. As she stepped off, a familiar head of gold popped up in the corner of her eye. Her head snapped to her right, where, of course, none other than the rude blond from the bus was stepping off through the other door. Immediately, she spun around the other way, following her GPS to the address of her apartment. Being raised by an always panicky mother, Seulgi began to worry when she realised that the blond was following her.
She began picking up her pace when her GPS dinged to inform her that the building was just around the corner.
Her suitcase dragging noisily against the now bumpy cobblestone, she took faster steps towards her destination.
She turned the corner quickly and rushed towards the building, not caring to take in the beautiful square.
Her apartment building was on the nearest corner of a small square that had a good-sized fountain in the centre and other apartment buildings. This area was reserved especially for students at the university that she was going to attend.
Before opening the building door, she noticed the blond taking large strides towards her. Heart racing, she pushed the glass door and rushed to the elevator. Clicking rapidly on the button, she willed the elevator to arrive faster, taking cautious glances behind her. The blond walked past the door and Seulgi waited a few moments before sighing with relief. She stepped into the elevator and calmly pressed the button to the third floor, but as the gleaming silver doors began sliding close, the boy's head popped out from the side.
And he pushed the door open.
Eyes wide, Seulgi's heart picked up pace and she wiped her hands on her t-shirt before grabbing the handle of her suitcase, ready to run to apartment room 24.
The elevator dinged and she sped out of the small box like the Flash. She sped down the hallway, searching desperately for room 24. When she reached it, she fumbled for the keys that were given to her in her purse. Taking a quick glance back, she unlocked the door and stumbled into the room in a flurry of panic.
Only when she was sat at the kitchen counter could she finally breathe.
There's only one elevator. And there's no way he can get i-
Her thought were interrupted by an unlocking sound at the front door.
Oh, must be my new room mate. I guess he's new too.
Yeah. Her room mate is a he.
Eagerly watching the door, she was still panting, some of her dark bangs stuck to her forehead. Sweeping them aside, she watched as a head popped through the door.
Of course.
"You're Park Jimin?!"

"Hi to you too Kang Seulgi." He rolled his eyes and blew his blond waves out of his face as he stood his suitcase up.
It was the blond.
Out of all the people in the world.
The blond?!
"Wait, you know me?" She asked curiously. Her first day in Seoul was clearly going fantastic so far.
"Maybe if you bothered to look at the profile of your assigned room mate you would know that I wasn't following you, but that I was going to live with you." Jimin said, annoyed to the core.
When he first bumped into her on the train, he was extremely tired after a lot of last minute packing, but when he noticed how familiar her face looked, he pulled his phone out and realised it was her.
Being Jimin, he was cheeky.
So the blond planned to play a game with her.
After hanging his leather jacket up, he grabbed the handle of his suitcase before strolling casually to the bigger room.
"Hey, I was going to take that one." Seulgi hopped out of the counter seat and held herself high, trying to look as confident as possible as she walked to Jimin. She stood in front of him in the doorway, blocking his way in. being taller than her, she knew she didn't have much of a chance, especially since he hated her.
"Too late." He scoffed before shoving her aside, just hard enough to get her out of the way, leaving Seulgi's jaw slack. With a slam of the door, Seulgi flinched and clenched her fists in absolute annoyance.
After dragging her suitcase to the slightly smaller room, she flopped onto her bed with frustration before smiling cheekily to herself.
She had to admit.
Jimin was pretty damn cute.
