"Merry Christmas!" Seulgi jolted awake, sleep blurring the excited tone of her mother who had just crashed into her room. "Merry Christmas hun! Wake up!"
"Geez." Seulgi laughed rubbing her eyes. "I'd think you were that 6 year old during Christmas." She stood, the hood of her leopard onesie drooping over her eyes.
"I'm going to wake your sister, go down first." The raven haired girl nodded before heading in the direction of the carpeted stairs. She couldn't help but peek into her sister's room, where her mother popped into and screamed 'Merry Christmas' to wake her. She sighed; that room was empty for 5 years before today.
Later on, the three of them sat in the living room, all cozy with fluffy blankets and warm pyjama's on. There weren't many presents under the tree, but there were more than before.
"Shall we open the gifts?" Wendy smirked cheekily, rubbing her hands together, the hood of her panther onesie sitting right above her blond bangs.
"Um," Seulgi started swallowing. "So, I got a gift for Mom, of course, but, I wasn't exactly aware that you were going to be here so I didn't get you one. Sorry." She said looking down into her half finished hot cocoa.
"That's fine. I got you one though." Wendy smiled, handing a small box to Seulgi. "Open it."
Seulgi ripped away the shiny silver wrapping paper to reveal a jewellery box. She raised a brow at Wendy, who didn't take notice but only watched with intent as her sister opened the box.
Inside lay two bands, one fit perfectly around her index finger, an elegant rose gold, her favourite colour. Next to it there was a slightly bigger band, a silver one that had a matching infinity sign on it.
"Um, Eonni...?" She trailed off, confused about the second one. "Is this one for you?" She asked her sister.
Wendy only laughed. "No silly, my finger wouldn't fit that. I'm only hoping it'll fit your boyfriend's."
"Huh?" Seulgi blurted. "How- how did you know I have a boyfriend? I didn't even tell Mom."
"What? You didn't tell me?" Her mother mocked hurt by pressing her hand to the centre of her chest.
"I didn't know it'd last this long." She shrugged.
"Seulgi, I got that because I knew that you'd grow up to be a gorgeous girl, clearly you are, and I knew that you would get a guy." Wendy winked. "I may not have been here a lot, but we're still connected you know."
"Huh." Seulgi rubbed the silver band in between her fingers. Two months ago, she would've given it to Jungkook without a doubt, but now?
She didn't know.

"WAKE UP BITCHES IT'S CHRISTMAS!" Jin screamed, clanging the random cowbell he found in the kitchen with all his might.
"Jin hyung what the fu-"
"Hey, it's Christmas, watch your language." Jin scolded the younger boy. Jimin rubbed his eyes, his blond bangs puffier than the non-existent clouds in the sky.
"But... you just... said..." Exasperated, the blond sighed and stepped towards the kitchen, past multiple doors, one which opened slowly to reveal a disoriented silver haired boy.
"What the fuck is going on." Taehyung's deep, growly voice echoed out into the apartment, just as Jungkook slipped out of his own room.
"Hey, it's Christmas, watch your language." Jin repeated from the archway in the kitchen as Jimin began preparing coffee.
"Jin hyung can you wake Yoongi hyung up, he's not listening to me." Namjoon complained, walking out of Yoongi's room and back into his own to get his presents. When he popped out again, his arms were full with 6 boxes of different colour and sizes. "Also that cowbell isn't supposed to be rung."
"But it works." Jin stated, sliding into the blue haired boy's room with a wooden spoon and the bell in hand. The other 5 stepped into the living room, 4 with coffees and Taehyung with a hot chocolate. As they each got comfortable on the sofa and armchairs, a loud clanging came from the sleepy boy's room along with-
"YOONGI YOU BETTER WAKE UP, IT'S CHRISTMAS BITCH!" Then, a couple of seconds later, Jin walking out with a victorious tilt in his steps with Yoongi glaring into the back of his head with laser eyes.
"Did everyone get presents for everyone?" Jin spoke, the cowbell now set back in it's place on the shelf in the kitchen. Everyone murmured scattered 'yes's' before taking the gifts from their rooms.
They came back to the seating area, Jin comfortable snuggled into Namjoon's arm, Yoongi and Hoseok sat comfortable, side by side, and Jimin snagging a floral armchair along with Taehyung who sat cross legged on a two seater sofa, Jungkook sitting a comfortable distance away from him.
"I would just like to say something." Taehyung said suddenly, making everyone turn to him. "The past 3 years have been pretty hectic to say the least, all of us bonding and breaking at different times, our families are in pretty shit conditions too," -the boys laughed, sinking into the soft material of their chairs- "but, we still have each other. This is the first time I can think of the 7 of us being comfortable in the same room, but who cares? We're comfortable now and that's what matters." A moment of silence before the others gave him a round of applause.
"That was good, I would've never been able to word my entirely mutual feelings the same way." Jin laughed, making everyone else follow. "Let's open our gifts." Everyone stood simultaneously, all excited to find the gifts that donned their names.
"You know, I miss being your friend." Jimin whispered as he reached over the silver haired boy's arm to get his gift, before rounding the evergreen tree to find his final box.
"Me too." Taehyung smiled to himself as he picked a small red box with 'taehyung~' scrawled on top. He thought about how soft and genuine Jimin's tone was and the smile on his face wouldn't slide.
"Hey, that's my gift." Jungkook popped up on his right, searching the little boxes left for one with his name on it. He reached to get the biggest one with '전정국' in Namjoon's handwriting on it before turning to the older boy again. "Merry Christmas Tae." He smiled a small smile before turning to sit on the sofa.
Whoa. Taehyung thought, grabbing a box before flopping next to Jungkook on the carpet in front of the sofa. Am I in heaven or did the 2 boys I messed up with subtly forgive me? A big boxy smile pulled tight on his perfect skin as he set his presents on the floor in front of him.
The day went on, the 7 boys together the whole time, laughing and smiling, hugging and celebrating.
It was the first time in forever that they felt like best friends again.
And they loved it.
