Now sat in a corner of the cafe, the two got as comfortable as they could on the cushioned chairs across from each other. Still unable to process the sight across the cafe, Jimin was extremely fidgety in his seat.

"Jimin are you okay?" Seulgi watched as the boy constantly turned to the right, and it seemed as if his neck might snap at any moment. "Jimin." She said sternly as a waiter placed two menus down.

"Hm?" Shaking his head, the blond stopped tapping the floor with his heel and turned as much of his attention as he could towards the concerned brunette. "Yeah, I'm fine. Let's just order. I'm hungry." He smiled at her, but it came off as a glare. Seulgi ignored it, but looked in the direction he was looking to check.

They had just met, but she knew Jimin was a good guy. He seemed like the type she could really trust.

Please don't come this way. Jimin silently pleaded as he stared at the aesthetically pleasing menu in front of him, the words swimming in front of his eyes. Blinking, the blond tried focusing on the dishes, and when he finally managed to make out the words 'cheese omelette' he felt a familiar hand on his shoulder.

All that concentration gone to waste.

"Hi!" With his head still facing down at the menu, Jimin peered up at Seulgi who had an awkward smile painted on her face. "I'm Taehyung. Jimin's-" The seated boy snapped up, shocking the unwanted guest. "-friend." He finished sourly.

"Oh, hi, I'm Seulgi. Jimin's new room mate." The brunette smiled genuinely this time, knowing that it wasn't just a random stranger.

"Ah. You're a girl." Taehyung smirked, laying his hand on Jimin's tense shoulder once more.

"What's your name?" She asked a new face that had appeared behind the handsome silver haired man.

Jimin was not aware that another body had arrived, but as he took a look, he regretted ever wondering.

"Hi," The dark brunette boy wrapped an arm around Taehyung's shoulders, a sly grin in her direction.

"I'm Jungkook."

Breakfast was delicious, but the atmosphere was hell. The brunette girl could sense that Jimin didn't want to talk about the surprise guests, but she couldn't help but wonder who they were. Watching the blond poke at his barely eaten cheese omelette, she thought could they be enemies? Long gone friends?

Unable to resist anymore, she just had to ask.

"Hey Jimin?" She asked, cocking her head to one side. "If you don't mind me asking, who were they?"

"Old friends." Is all he replied with, alongside with a subtle scoff.

"Oh. Okay." Seulgi swallowed awkwardly as they continued through the silent breakfast in the beautiful cafe.

For those last few moments during breakfast, Jimin forgot all about his little game, not caring anymore. To cheer him up, he focused on it once again, as he dropped his keys into the cheap marble bowl beside the door with a clink. As the front door closed behind them, the blond flopped onto the sofa across from the bright window.

He realised that the brunette hadn't fully relaxed into the apartment.

"Seulgiiii," He dragged the last syllable like a bratty child, causing her to look up from her phone at him irritably. "Come heeeeeere." Jimin called with a pout and puppy eyes. A playful eye roll from Seulgi's direction hit him before she strolled over to sit by him on the sofa.

"Jimin, my friend Joy is in the city today. I'm gonna go meet her, I'll be back later."

"Seriously? You're gonna leave me?" The blond pouted even further as the brunette stood once again.

"Yes I am. Jimin, you won't die from boredom. Just chill here." Seulgi shook her head and stepped towards the door. Suddenly, a shock runs through her left arm and she froze on the spot. Heart beating rapidly and a fluttery feeling rushing through her, she peered to her left hand.

Her hand in Jimin's hand.

And his eyes locked with hers.

Seulgi laughed as casually as she could and quickly pulled her hand out before rushing out the door without so much as a glance back. Sprinting down the hallway, she began freaking out as her heart beat sped up. Only when she was in the elevator, could she breathe, but she still couldn't forget the feeling.

Little did she know Jimin felt the same.

He didn't know he'd feel that.

He'd just been playing.

It's only a game after all.

Isn't it?

Shaking himself out of it, the phone in Jimin's pocket buzzed as he rubbed his right arm, shocked from the... shock. Pulling the matte black device from his pocket, he clicked the unlock button and found a message from an unknown number: the address of an apartment.

One of the university ones.

Being the curious bean he is, Jimin hopped off the sofa, still in a slight daze from whatever just happened. After locking the door and slipping his black sunglasses on, he fluffed his blond hair before shoving his hands in his cream khaki shorts.

The cool breeze blew against him, the top button of his crisp white shirt open to release heat. Strolling casually with his phone in hand, Jimin stopped at the opposite end of the square, an there, stood by a pastel pink coloured apartment identical to his pale yellow one stood the one person he didn't ever want to see.
