The next morning, Jimin woke with a start, eyes blown wide and heart beating rapidly. The funniest thing was that, he didn't remember a dream.
"PARK JIMIN!" Screamed a distinct frantic voice from the living room. He sighs and sinks back into his bed before turning to the clock beside him that read 6:49.
Why is she up so early?
Realisation hit him as he remembered what day it was.
Oh.
SCHOOL.
The blond was out of his room with clean teeth, a white t-shirt and navy ripped jeans before you could spell potatoes.
"Um, Jimin, your shirt." Seulgi swallowed as she slipped her high top white Converse's on while the boy pulled the bottom of his t-shirt down to cover his abs.
His very toned abs.
"Oh thanks." He replied nonchalantly and he grabbed his red Converse and pulled them on. He was about to follow Seulgi out the door when he heard a low rumble.
"Dude is it going to rain or are you just hungry 'cause I could hear that from here." The girl stopped halfway down the hallway, smirking at Jimin. "You woke up so late I was able to eat three slices of toast without you." The blond didn't hear much of that because he ran back into the apartment before the door closed and grabbed a shiny red apple.
"Wait, why didn't you wake me up?" He asked with a half full mouth of crunchy apple. Not gonna lie, but Jimin was pretty annoyed that she didn't bother to wake him up.
"You looked peaceful." She replied without turning to the boy next to her. She shifted her bag strap on her shoulder before continuing. "And I did, you just didn't wake up. We're not even that late." Jimin turned to the hall in front of them which was packed with students from their university. He'd almost forgotten that they stayed where the rest of the students stayed.

Only when they had both set foot on the school grounds, watching as other students casually lay on the grass, could they both release the little bit of tension they had, knowing that they weren't late for school.
"Hey Jimin I have dance practice after school today so I'll text you when I'm on my way back." Seulgi spoke, her dark ponytail swinging with excitement.
"Okay." He replied, trying to push the undertone of disappointment from the single word, not wanting her to know that he wanted her home.
At least I'll have some time to visit Seokjin hyung.
"Look, It's Taehyung and Jungkook." Jimin followed her slender arm which was pointed at two boys sitting on a little corner of grass by the main doors steps, both leaning against the old cobblestone behind them. "Wanna go see them?"
The blond swallowed, suddenly feeling uncomfortably hot in the cool summer breeze.
"Jimin? Is everything alright?" Seulgi was confused at why he had suddenly stopped and why there was this sudden weight that looked like it was dragging him down as he stared at the two boys ahead.
"No." He blurted out, heart feeling numb with pain as he saw a boxy smile appear on Taehyung's face as he laughed at a joke Jungkook had just cracked. "I mean-"
"No. You said no. So no, nothing is alright, and the last time I asked that you if you were okay, you went ballistic at me so I'm going to ask again and I'm asking if you'll explain to me, the person you'll be living with for two years, to tell me what's wrong." Jimin felt his jaw drop as he took in everything the very determined Seulgi just said to him.
"Fine." Is all he could reply with, with a slow, soft voice. He pulled his phone half out of his pocket and clicked the lock button, revealing his lock screen and the time: 6:58. People were already heading inside the building and when he looked past Seulgi's shoulders to where the other two were sitting earlier, he saw they were gone.
"I'll tell you, but later at break." He said before grabbing his room mate's wrist and yanking her towards the building.
"Ow, you could've dislocated my shoulder." Although she was probably right, the blond heard the smile in her voice as they ran up the steps of the building, entering the boisterous halls.
"Come now little one, we'll be late for class."
"Hey, I'm older than you."
"Doesn't make up for your height."
"JIMI-"

"So speak. What's up?" Seulgi swung her right leg over the flat wooden bench to straddle it as she waited for Jimin to begin explaining.
"Um, Chemistry was fun, Math was a bitc-"
"Jimin stop stalling and tell me." She pressed further as the boy himself straddled the bench in the space in front of her.
"I-I don't know if I should tell you. It'll change your entire point of view of me." He said, biting his lower lip nervously.
"I couldn't care less if you had a criminal record, it's okay." She replied with a softer tone.
"I'm gay." The blond once again blurted out but this time he immediately flinched, ready for an 'OMG YOU'RE GAY??' from Seulgi.
"That's okay." He looked up from the spot in the grass he was staring at to check if she was being genuine, and from what he could see, she was.
But little did he know, that under that soft, genuine smile was a little wave of disappointment. She didn't know why it was there, it's not like she liked him or anything.
"I mean I think I'm gay? I used to have a boyfriend, but he broke my heart pretty damn hard and then a girl comes in and I don't know if I'm gay or bi." The blond rambled, watching this intrigued girl in front of him carefully for any sign of judgement. "It's hard to say, since I told myself not to make my heart so vulnerable to anyone anymore, so I don't know if I like her, or if I still like my ex, which would be really, really bad."
So there's a girl. Seulgi sighed inwardly but was very careful not to let the wave of disappointment in her wash over her expression.
"Gay is okay, so is liking your ex and so is liking this girl. I know you mean to build walls around your heart to protect it from breaking, but if you can see that he's changed, or you can see that you can trust this girl to care for your heart, and you would do the same for either of them, then maybe you should have some little holes in your walls, to let some light in." She placed a reassuring hand on Jimin's which was next to his other hand, pressing down on the bench as he shifted his weight from his hands to his seated butt.
"Thanks." He smiled, genuinely and fully, his heart warming for the first time in awhile.
This girl is really changing me. I don't know if I hate it, or if I like it. But maybe I should have little holes in my walls, because she truly is a light.
