A week and a half later.

"Holy mother of all exams I'm done!" Seulgi laughed to herself as she left the cobblestone building for the second-most final time that year. The courtyard was pretty much empty, the rest of the students still indoors as they finished the final minutes of the final lessons. She skipped away from the building happily after being released early from her last exam.

The sun was still bright in the clear blue sky and it couldn't have been more perfect. To further boost her mood, Seulgi realised she was finally allowed to dance again.

"Yes!" She laughed again, one hundred and ninety nine percent sure she failed all her exams but who cared, they were over! Throwing her hands out, she spun on the impossibly green grass just like in the movies, except the grass wasn't actually that green and it was kind of dead. But still-

"Seulgi?" The ravenette froze mid-spin and cringed. She knew that voice. Very, very well. Slowly, she turned around, cheeks dusted a soft shade of embarrassment.

"Hi." She smiled sheepishly, dropping her hands to her backpack and dipping her head.

"Hi." Taehyung laughed a deep, rumbly laugh that came from the deepest point of his chest that made him sound  joyful. "You're happy."

"You're out early." Her embarrassment washed away and comfort came to replace it as she playfully glared at him.

"Eh. Said I needed to go to the bathroom and then Mr. Lee said to just go home after." The silver haired boy ran his slender fingers through the freshly washed strands of metal stained locks as he smiled.

"Guess that's what happens on the last few days of school here huh." They both laughed and turned to leave the premises as the front door burst open.

"Kang Seulgi!" The two turned round to see a pink faced Hoseok burst through the door. When he caught up to the two, he paused, took some deep breaths, and straightened up.

"Um, hi?" Taehyung coughed.

"Oh hey Tae." He held his side with a distorted face of exhaustion and paused, taking deep breaths. "Huh." He finally said after a few minutes of just standing there. "I ran all the way through that murderous crowd to find Seulgi and I've forgotten what I wanted to say."

Silence.

"You're such a crackhead." Seulgi laughed and Taehyung doubled over in laugher as well.

"Thank you. So much." Hoseok sarcastically rolled his eyes and brushed his slightly damp red hair back. "So are you coming to dance?"

"Yep." Seulgi beamed; her skin seemed to glow under the bright sun. It had been ages since she last danced. In fact she didn't remember the last time she danced.

"So do you remember the end of year celebration routine?" The red head asked casually.

Seulgi's heart froze.

"R-Routine?" She swallowed and racked her growing memories for anything dance related. Anything.

Hoseok burst out in laughter and held his stomach in his hands while Seulgi and Taehyung just stared.

"What?"

"Your face!" Hoseok burst out, causing several heads to turn. The two waited for Hoseok to catch his breath once again, and when he did, he wiped some tears from his eyes. "Sorry,"- breath- "That wasn't actually that funny,"- breath- "Don't worry, we're learning it today."

"Oh my God you red headed baboon I got so scared!" Seulgi burst out, hitting the pink faced boy on the arm who only laughed.

"I'll see you later then." He winked with another giggle as he trotted of, brushing his hair out of his face again and leaving the campus to prepare for dance that evening.

"Hey Seulgi," Taehyung began hesitantly as the two began their journey back to the square together, "Why aren't you waiting for Jimin?"

"Why aren't you waiting for Jungkook?" She shot back.

Taehyung paused.

"Touché."

So the two continued on towards their apartments, leaving their room mates behind.

"She's alive!" Ms. Eli screamed excitedly with a clap the moment Seulgi entered the door. The ravenette froze on the spot with wide eyes and her hand resting on the doorknob.

"Um, Eli, I think that's a little insensitive considering what actually happened..." Mr. Key softly mumbled to her. The shorter teacher's smile instantly dropped.

"Right. Sorry." She spoke gently and Seulgi continued into the studio.

"Welcome back." Lisa smiled as she brushed her dirty blond hair into a ponytail.

Seulgi thanked her and started towards her space in the corner under the ballerina bar by her best friend.

"I'm so glad you're back, I've been the loneliest dancer here for the past two months." Irene sighed, watching her friend drop her bag and re-tie her laces as if it was the most normal thing to do after, you know, getting hit by a car.

"Alright let's get dancing!" Mr. Key exclaimed. Seulgi did a short warm up before joining the class.

"We're learning two routines for the end of year," Ms. Eli began as the dancers got excited, "They will be performed next weekend at the graduation ceremony for the seniors. If you can't make it, please tell me ASAP." Several raised their voices and Seulgi scanned them for a particular student. But he wasn't raising his hand.

Jungkook stood alone, quiet, his bottom lip in between his perfectly white teeth as he waited for more information on the dance. He sensed eyes on him and had to subtly wring his hands to force him not to turn.

After a couple of moments, Ms. Eli confirmed the performers for the show and paired everyone up. This time though, Jungkook was put with Lisa and Seulgi was put with Hyunjin.

"Hyunjin right?" The dark brunette nodded with a small smile. "Nice to meet you."

The smile faltered slightly and Hyunjin let out a small scoff. "I'm in your Geo class."

"Oh!" A baby pink began to colour her cheeks and Hyunjin laughed. "Sorry." The boy hummed and nodded as if to say "it's okay". Then class began.

After the two hours, she walked back to the apartment alone, the evening sun washing over her with a slight summer breeze to accompany it. The familiar cobblestone square was soon under her feet and as she neared the apartment building door, the glass reflecting the purples and reds of the sky, she saw a small silhouette enter a building on the other side. Turning around, she saw just a snippet of Jungkook's legs as he slipped into his building.

She turned back to her building and smiled.

That had been her first thought of him since class ended.
