Rapid knocks came at the apartment door, shocking Jimin in his room. Sighing, he dropped his pen onto his notebook and ran a stressed hand through his hair as he went to open the door.
"Jim-" He swung the door open and there stood four girls, three with worried expressions and one with a very, very annoyed one.
"I thought you guys were going for fro-yo?" He asked, clearing his throat.
"You three, go into Seulgi's bedroom." Joy ordered. Seulgi began protesting but winded up being dragged into the apartment by Yeri and Irene. "You," She pointed at Jimin, making him flinch, "we need to talk."
Jimin obeyed and let her through the door, locking it quietly behind her. When he turned, she was already sat on the sofa, her knee bobbing up and down in worry.
"You okay?" Jimin asked, sitting a respectful distance away from her.
"Seulgi thinks Jungkook is her boyfriend." The blond hummed in a reply, nodding solemnly. "You don't seem too surprised. Did you know?" She added the final part with an incredulous edge to her tone. "You knew?"
"I mean I only found out the day she woke up. And what did you expect me to do? Tell her? 'Oh sorry Seulgi actually you and Jungkook broke up. In fact, you're the one who broke up with him.'"
Joy was silent.
Then, "Sorry. I just-" Sighing, she slumped into the sofa, melting into the cushions as the tension in her body washed away. "I just worry you know. There's clearly something wrong with her. What do we do?" Her voice was soft now, worried, and Jimin knew the feeling all too well.
"I don't know. I guess we just wait it out." They sat in silence after that, both thinking of ways they could get their Seulgi back. Maybe there was a trigger item. Maybe-
"PARK SOOYOUNG! PARK JIMIN!" Seulgi burst out of her bedroom door, face flushed with an angry red as she stormed into the living room. "What it Korea's name is going on? Why are Irene and Yeri acting so weird? AND WHERE IS JUNGKOOK?"
Ouch.
"Um, Seulgi..." Joy trailed off, standing.
"Let's go." Jimin said plainly, no emotion betraying his voice.
"Uh, where?" Seulgi crossed her arms as her shiny jet ponytail swung on her head, freshly tied while she was sat in the stifling atmosphere of her two friends.
"To Jungkook's place. You wanna talk to him? Then let's go."
I can't be the only one suffering from her amnesia.
"Okay." Seulgi replied, half-satisfied, half afraid of why Jimin was so calm.

"C'mon Kook, let's go out." Taehyung persuaded as he leaned against his flatmates bedroom door, arms crossed.
"No. I already know you're going to try and find a way for me to go find Jimin to talk to him about this." He huffed, spinning around in his study chair.
"Please." The silver haired boy pushed himself off the doorframe and sat himself on a nicely made bed, tracing the intricate patterns of sharp geometrical shapes coloured with a matte grey.
"No." Jungkook spun round and ran a hand through his brown hair, the dryness of it annoying him to the core.
I need some hair care.
"If you take me to get a hair treatment done I'll go. But only for that." He sighed and tried frowning, but seeing the smile on Taehyung's face grow into that adorable rectangle he loved ever so dearly, he couldn't help but chuckle. "C'mon."
Just as they were about to open the front door, three calm knocks came.
"Who...?" Taehyung wondered aloud and Jungkook shrugged in reply, pulling the door open.
"Hey Jungkook." Seulgi smiled shyly, making Jungkook's jaw drop.
"Hi." He replied, frozen stock-still in the partly open doorway.
"Jungkook who is it-" Taehyung peeled the boy from out of the doorway and froze as he saw the two figures.
"Hey Tae." Seulgi smiled again, the corners of her lips turning upwards ever so slightly.
"Oh hi." Taehyung smiled apologetically and then peered beside him, behind the door, where Jungkook was still frozen. And maybe a little pale. "One moment." He laughed nervously and closed the door quietly.
"Kim Taehyung did you do this." Jungkook growled, colour still absent from his face. He was angry, Taehyung could feel it, but-
"I didn't. I swear. I'm just as surprised as you are. I didn't even know she was out." Jungkook looked right into the older boy's sparkly eyes and saw he was telling the truth. Sighing, his shoulders slumped and his entire body sagged. Then, a pair of warm arms embraced him.
"It's okay, I'm here." Taehyung mumbled into his hair, making him melt. Jungkook smiled into the crook of his neck and slinked his arms around the other ones waist and gave him a slight squeeze before going to open the door.
"Were you guys going out? We could come back another time." Seulgi sent a small glare in Jimin's direction. Clearly something had gone on out there while the two were 'discussing' things.
"No, it's okay." Taehyung smiled, resisting the urge to put his arm around Jungkook, almost forgetting about the fact that she probably thinks he's her boyfriend still.
The four of them sat in the living room, Jimin in an arm chair, Seulgi in a second one, identical to Jimin's and the two flatmates sitting on the sofa together, desperately wanting to sit close, but knowing they couldn't.
"So I actually have no idea what we're here for." Seulgi started, almost making Jungkook laugh. She still had that confidence.
"There's been... A misunderstanding." Jimin started, crossing his legs and clasping his hands together, bracing for the inevitable.
"What misunderstanding? Am I missing something?" The three boys could hear the worry and panic in her voice, and there was no denying they were feeling that panic too.
"Seulgi..." Taehyung started again. None of them knew how to break it to her. That they were over and done with already, their time together part of the complications of student love.
"Seulgi, I'm not your boyfriend." Jungkook blurted, ripping off the bandaid.
The room fell into a tense silence, so thick you could slice it with a knife.
Then Seulgi passed out.
