Luckily for them, the apartment was a bit far so Yoongi came to pick them up so they didn't have to walk the cold air. Together nor alone.
"Hey you two." He nodded coolly as Jimin slid into the passenger seat in front of Seulgi. Neither responded, the tension between them intensifying.
And Yoongi noticed.
"Everyone's already there." Yoongi said, pulling onto the main road. He was failing miserably at starting a conversation, so he stopped trying. The rest of the ride was silent.
Painfully silent.
The tension was so thick in the air, it was almost as thick when he was in the same room as Taehyung the days Jimin went missing.
Almost.
When they finally pulled up to the main lobby of the apartment, Yoongi switched the engine off and spoke.
"I left my keys behind. Level 4, apartment 405, the door's open." He unlocked the doors and stepped out knowing what would come next.
"Thanks." Seulgi hopped out and was in the building by the time Jimin clicked his seatbelt open. She smiled despite the burning redness creeping up her neck, glad for Yoongi's genius.
He gets me.
"What happened?" Yoongi chuckled as they both watched the elevator doors close on the uneasy, shifty back of the raven haired girl.
"I kissed her." Jimin blurted, horror tinting his attempted nonchalant tone.
"Jimin, what the fu-"
"Later, hyung," The blond sighed, raking a frustrated hand through his hair. "Later."
Yoongi sighed, knowing Jimin didn't know what happened in the school yard earlier that day, making the whole thing worse. He would get the whole story later, but Yoongi knew something was going to go wrong.
When they arrived at the open door of the apartment, they found Seulgi standing frozen just a few steps from the doorway, her sneakers still tied in place.
"What's wrong?" Yoongi asked, following the girls line of sight into the spacious living room, alive with chatter.
"You said a few people." She said in a low voice, petrified. She had never been to a big party like this before. It was scarier than being in a club where she didn't even know the people. "This is like, the entire school."
"Oh." Yoongi watched as people even he barely knew talk and laugh and wander, completely comfortable in a strangers apartment. There were a lot more people now then before he left, and it left him sighing. "That would be Hoseok. He's popular, you know? And since our three youngest are finally in university and have an idea of these people, he decided to let loose on the invitations. Don't worry, you'll be fine." Yoongi added the last sentence before shoving his hands in his pockets and heading to the sleek kitchen for a drink.
Huh. Seulgi toed her sneakers off, her fingers gripping tightly around the chain of her purse when the form of a familiar boy sidled up beside her.
"You'll be fine." Jimin said, in a voice so low, she barely heard it as he slipped his shoes off and headed in to find a familiar face in the sea of stranger's.

Seulgi swallowed as she plastered another weak, fake smile on her face as she passed a familiar girl by the grey sofa. She'd recognized almost everyone, but not a single name popped into mind. She was beginning to wonder if Joy had stolen to one of the many rooms in the lush apartment with her boyfriend to leave her to the sharks. Luckily for her, she spotted a familiar sheet of black hair paired with a slim dancers form laughing at something a boy said with a glass of alcohol in her hand.
