Chapter 53

***Lorena's POV***

Ngayon ang araw ng dating nina Dale. Nagrequest itong personal na sunduin ko siya sa airport. Um-oo lang ako sa kanya. Pero sa ngayon nga ay nag-aasikaso kami ng surprise na salo-salo para sa kanila kaya hindi ako makakapunta ng airport. Buti na lang at napaki-usapan ni Conrad si Edward na siya na lang ang susundo sa mga ito.

Sabik na rin akong makita ang anak ko pero mas gusto ko itong sorpresa para sa kanya. Naiisip ko din kasi na kapag sinundo ko siya sa airport ay baka hindi iyon pumayag na dumiretso ng mansyon. Gusto ko rin siyang personal na ipakilala kay Conrad.

Malaking pasasalamat ko kay Edward sa agarang pagpayag nito.

"Okay na ba ang lahat?"

"Okay na mahal ko... Sila na lang ang inaantay natin.. Sa mga oras na ito nakalapag na ang eroplanong sinasakyan nila at malamang nandoon na rin si Edward."

"Bakit nga pala hindi sumama si Niel sa airport?"

"Ewan ko... baka siguro iniisip niya na pag nakita agad siya ni Krishia sa airport eh hindi na magpunta iyon dito. Mas maganda na rin na dito si Krishia maso-sorpresa di ba?"

"Sabagay."

***Edward's POV***

I'm already here in the arrival area of the airport and waiting for them. She didn't know that I'll be the one to fetch them.

I immediately agreed when Tita Lorena requested for it. I'm so excited to see her. I miss her so much..

I couldn't contain my anticipation....

'Hope she's no longer mad at me...

I then finally notice the both of them thirty minutes after their plane's arrival was announced.

I can see her beautiful transformation from the distance. She became much more beautiful than before....

She seemed to be searching for Tita Lorena so I approached them.

"Maya... Krishia."

They were surprised upon seeing me especially Maya.

"Hey, Edward! What are you doing here? How are you by the way?" says Krishia.

"Hi Krishia. I'm fine..." as I kissed Krishia on the cheek. But I wasn't able to do the same with Maya... I really want to but I just can't....

"I'll be the one to fetch the two of you since Tita Lorena is doing something important. She asked me to do this just a while ago.... If you want you can call her to confirm....." and I'm about to hand them my phone.

"I think Beshy will just be the one to go with you... I'll be heading to my condo..." Krishia responded.

"Naku Beshy, hindi pwede. Ipapasama mo ako sa lalaking iyan ng mag-isa? Sama ka na muna, sabay na lang tayo umalis doon. Kamustahin na rin natin si Mr Conrad.."

"Bakit, hindi pwede? Hay naku Beshy, bahala ka na nga.. Sabagay baka magtampo rin si Tita sa akin..."

Suddenly Tristan came out of nowhere.

"Hey bro, how are you? What are you doing here?"

"Hello dude! I'm here to fetch them, since Tita Lorena couldn't make it. I'm bringing them home."

Confusion runs on Tristan's face.

Maya answered it for me.

"Tristan, Mama is staying with Mr Conrad so I need to go there first."

"Are you gonna be okay?" he whispered to Maya but I've heard it clearly.

Maya then hold his hand and squeeze it while looking at him, in response.
