Maya's POV

Krishia: Beshy! Flight ko next month pa. May inaasikaso lang ako ditong importante bago pa umuwi dyan. Pero kaw bahala sakin dyan ah? I miss you sooooo much! Mwah! Mwah! I'll update you again. Goodnight. Always take care of yourself! I lab lab lab lab u!

Napangiti ako pagkatapos kong basahin ang message ni bestfriend.

Dagli ko tong nireply. Sana di na sya masyado malungkot. Alam kong minahal nya din ang German na napangasawa nya. Buti wala pa silang anak kasi kung nagkataon pati bata maaapektuhan.

Kinabukasan ay maaga akong gumising para mag jog ulit sa palibot ng Ayala Triangle.

Naka-ilang rounds din ako nang maisipan kong magpahinga saglit sa isang bench dun na parang hinulma ng KitKat chocolate.

Madaming nagdya-jogging pero parang pati matatanda yata meron na din ngayon.

Unlike last week na akala mo nasa Korea ka na dahil halos Koreans lang makikita mo.

Edward's POV

I feel refreshed whenever I go on jogging.

I hardly go to the gym these days because of my hectic schedules.

I make sure though that I'm still in proper shape all the time. It'll be too hard if I get sick. No one will take care of me and the business.

"OF ME!" Yeah I realize that. I feel sad suddenly. I have all the things in the world. I can buy luxury but am I really happy?

My loneliness got even worse when a young couple sweetly kissed in front of me.

"Shit!" I cursed in silence and continue to jog until I feel numb and empty.

I sat on a bench nearby. I was staring blanky at the surroundings as memories flooded my brain.

I remember her again. I still couldn't move on....

I was still in a daze when someone passed by in front of me. I can no longer see her face as she jogs further.

The lady is indeed a head turner. She's wearing a black jogger shorts and fitted white sleeveless top. Her hair was in ponytail and her sweat are visible on her nape down her back. She has a beautiful body.

"Oh what a fudge! Damn! She got nice legs... and oh her butt!" as I couldn't stop admiring until I lost sight of her.

The back image of that girl remains in my head. She's like a model. She was in that very simple jogger outfit yet she looks so hot.

I decided to get back to my condo to prepare since I got a lot of papers to sign in the office.

Mica, my secretary already called me about the appointments I have for the day.

Maya's POV

Lunch Time.

Nabigla ako ng tumunog ang telepono sa mesa ko.

"Sales Department, hello?" tanong ko sa tumawag.

"Hi beautiful! Are you ready?" sagot sa kabilang linya.

"Oh my! I almost forgot! I'm sorry Tristan. Okay, I'll be ready in fifteen minutes. I'll see you in the lobby." tugon ko sa kanya.

"Ayt! See yah!" malambing nyang tugon.

Napapailing na lang akong naghanda para sa lunch time. Um-oo nga pala ako kagabi.

Hinanap ko si Tristan pagbaba ko ng ground floor at agad ko syang nakita na prenteng naka-upo sa sofa ng lobby.

Nilapitan ko sya, "Hey, shall we?" agaw ko ng pansin nya habang nakatutok ang tingin sa magazine.

"There you are beautiful!" sabi nya at tinawanan ko na lang siya.

Sa isang sikat na restaurant sa tabi lang ng building kami kumain.

Sinabi ko kasing madami pa akong kailangang tapusin. Pumayag naman sya at masaya kaming nagsalo ng pananghalian.

Di nauubusan ng kwento si Tristan. Mas madaldal pa nga ata to keysa sakin.

***Edward's POV***

I decided to go on lunch as I realized I was not able to take my breakfast.

That girl a while ago in the park occupied my  mind. I directly went to the restaurant beside our building.

As I entered the door, I saw Tristan at the corner and I was taken aback when I saw who's with him.

Maya?

I wanted to go to them but I decided not to. I sat at the other corner where they could hardly recognize me.

Are they together now? Is he courting her?

Questions started to flood my mind.

"Tsk! Girls! Easy to get! Isn't it they just met last night? Hope this young lady is not after Tristan's money." I uttered in silence.

Well why not. Tristan is a good catch. He's a bachelor who owns businesses as well.

Aside from being a model, he has time to manage his business. But I've known him for so long. Commitment in a relationship isn't his thing. His women come and go. My friend is a very good looking man.

I suddenly feel sad for Maya. I know for sure what will happen to her in case.

Hayyz, a lot of women nowadays only go for money.

I feel a bit frustrated of that thought.

I can't help but stare at them but a part of me is not in favor of what I'm seeing.

I can't describe what I'm feeling right now. I'm even losing my appetite.

I decided to go back to my office.
