The sun was setting as Adrianna walked into her apartment, casting a warm glow in the room. She let out a long breath, dumping her back on the table and stretching her sore and stiff back. Her mind was muggy with exhaustion, both mentally and physically. She had never been on a cross country meet before, or tailed her friends because she was concerned for them, but she was pretty sure that trip was not how it usually is supposed to go.

Her hand trailed the side of her waist, expecting a sharp pain. Her wound really had healed.

A sigh left her lips as the conversation that went entirely downhill with Isaac entered her mind. Although a part of her was somewhat relieved that he knew what she was, she didn't like how she cold shouldered him. But he didn't need to know her whole life story. None of them did.

Her phone suddenly vibrated, rumbling on the benching. She looked at the caller, Stiles. A sigh left her lips as she grabbed it and quickly answered, hoping it was just Stiles checking up on her. "I just spent the last 48 hours with you and i would really like to be alone."

Stiles chuckled through the phone although he sounded hesitant. "I know, I'm sorry. I uh, how are you feeling?"

Adrianna raised her eyebrows and leant against the bench, "Fine. Why?"

Stiles let out a long breath, man, she could feel his nerves through the goddamn phone.

"Stiles, what is it?"

"Look, don't hate me. But. . . ."

"Stiles." Adrianna warned.

"Derek's alive."

Adrianna's mouth fell open, her body freezing. Derek is alive. How the hell is he alive? Why hasn't he called her? Why didn't she feel something? Anger swelled in her as she lowered the phone, her eyes going cold. How dare he not tell her.

She could hear Stiles saying her name, possibly warning her not to do anything rash. He was an idiot for saying that right after he told her that her practical brother was alive after she just spent the last few days thinking he was dead.

Adrianna teleported to the loft, her fists clenched and blood rushing through her viens like fire. Her eyes landed on Derek walking around the table, his eyes instantly wary of her. He looked absolutely fine, completely healed from his supposed death. She was in front of him and landing a harsh right hook to his cheek before anyone could even blink.

"YOU WERE DEAD!"

She punched him again, so hard that he fell to one knee. He spat some blood on the concrete.

"FOR DAYS, I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD! I WAS GOING OUT OF MY FUCKING MIND!"

She kicked him in the ribs. He slammed onto his back.

"I FIND OUT FROM STILES OVER THE PHONE THAT YOU'RE ALIVE! ALL I NEEDED WAS A FUCKING PHONE CALL!"

She kicked him again. She knelt over him, pounding her fist into his face as rage consumed her. "HOW COULD YOU NOT FUCKING TELL ME! THE ONE PERSON THAT NEEDED TO KNOW, YOU LEFT TILL LAST. YOU ASSHOLE!"

"Adrianna! Adrianna!" Cora was pulling her off Derek. She wrapped her arms around her waist and tugged her back.

Adrianna struggled against her, her eyes angrily staring at Derek. How dare he. How dare he not tell her. Especially because he knew how she would react when she finally found out.

"Adrianna! Calm down! You need to calm down." Cora pleaded, grinding her teeth together as Adrianna struggled against her to have another go at Derek. Luckily Cora has the advantage of werewolf strength and Adrianna didn't want to hurt her by using her powers on her.

Derek rolled over and coughed out some blood.

Adrianna stopped struggling and pulled herself from Cora's grasp. She shook her head, taking a few steps away from him as her rage simmered. She didn't want to kill him, but she knew she would if she didn't calm down. She wasn't the best at handling that sort of news.

Cora stood inbetween them, glancing at her brother to make sure he was okay. She knew how it felt, she was pissed too.

Adrianna's lips were in a tight line, her eyes staring daggers into Derek. "You got two seconds to explain yourself."

Derek got to his feet, wiping his nose. Blood smeared on his face but he didn't care. He knew she should have told her, but he didn't know how. It wasn't exactly an easy conversation, and no matter how he said it to her, he would have gotten the same reaction. "I'm sorry."

Adrianna laughed, although it came out as more of a bark. "You're sorry?" She took a step closer to him. "For what Derek? For dying? For for lying that you were alive? For letting me believe you were dead? I know I don't deserve a lot of things, but i thought I at least deserved that."

Derek's face softened, in a way that it only does when he talks to Cora or Scott. He knew his mistake. And he didn't know how to fix it.

Adrianna shook her head, feeling a familiar lump in her throat. She hated that she kept feeling the need to break down, but she wasn't one who relished in all the pain and death she has seen or caused. "I really needed you."

Derek walked over to her, effulging her in a warm hug that she desperately clung to. In the end, she loved him. And she was eternally thankful that he survived that fall. However the hell he got through it, whoever he turned to, she was thankful.

She pulled away from him, "I'm sorry for beating you up."

He laughed and shook his head, "I deserved it."

Adrianna jumped suddenly, her phone vibrating. She rolled her eyes and answered the phone. "Just can't stay away from me, can you?"

"Someone else has been taken." Stiles voiced through the phone, his tone serious.

Adrianna frowned, turning away from Derek. "What happened?"

"Two doctors have gone missing. I'm on my way to pick you up."

Adrianna nodded, "Okay." She went to hang up, but remembered she wasn't actually at her home. "Oh wait, come to Derek's. I'll be outside."
