"Derek?" Jennifers heels clacked down the stairs and into the loft. "Derek, where are you?"

"Right here."

Jennifer whipped around to look in the direction the voice came from.
Derek emerged from a back room, seemingly oblivious to what has happened. She let out a breath and ran to him, "Oh thank god."

It was silence and Adrianna could only assume they were hugging or kissing. She nearly threw up.

"Something happened at the recital. At the school. Okay, I need to tell you before you heart it--before you hear any of it from them." Jennifer started to say, putting on her best acting.

"From who?" Derek asked, although he knew who she was talking about. But he wanted to hear her side. He wanted to hear it from her.

"Scott, Stiles, Adrianna. They're gonna tell you things. Things you can't believe. You have to trust me, okay? You trust me?" Jennifer almost sounded worried, like she was actually scared of him finding out the truth.

"What is it?"

"Promise you'll listen to me."

Oh my god. Adrianna was ready to bash her head instead of listening to her whine like a teenager. Isn't she supposed to be some god or something?

"I promise."

There was a silence before Adrianna felt Dereks uncertainty and slight lust. She was kissing him. Yet he wasn't kissing back. She couldn't help the smirk that pulled at her lips at the thought of Jennifer realising she lost the one thing she had going for her.

"They're already here, aren't they?" Jennifer confirmed, her tone going slow and dark. Much different to the pleading, worried one she was putting on moments ago.

Adrianna followed Scott and Stiles around the corner, making themselves known to Jennifer.
She turned her head to look at them, her face already pissing Adrianna off.

"So," Jennifer slowly started to look back to Derek. "They told you it was me? That I'm the one taking people?"

"We told him you're the one killing people." Scott spat.

"Oh, that right." Jennifer chuckled nervously, her magical wall starting to fade. Adrianna can feel her nerves, her power taken from the sacrifices, her fake persona. "Committing human sacrifices? What, cutting their throats? Yeah, I--I probably do it on my lunch hour that way I can get back to teaching highschool English the rest of the day. That makes perfect sense."

Adrianna shook her head slightly, trying not to scoff. She was lying, Adrianna could feel it.
"You're lying. I at least know that."

Jennifer snapped her eyes to Adrianna, trying to push down her disgust? Jealousy? Hate? All of the above?

"Where's my dad?" Stiles asked, a tear slipping down his cheek. He didn't care about killing her, or what her plans were, not anymore. He just wanted his father back. Alive.

"How should I know?" Oh man, she was still milking this card. She turned to look to Derek. "Derek, tell me you don't believe this."

Derek's eyes searched hers, he couldn't figure it out. She helped him when he was at his weakest, on the brink of death after the attack all those weeks ago and he actually liked her a little. But he trusted Scott and he knew Adrianna could tell when people were lying. His eyes raised to them, to Scott and Adrianna's pissed of expressions and Stiles' broken one.
"Do you know what happened to Stiles' father?"

"No."

"Ask her why she almost killed Lydia." Scott suggested with even more venom in his tone then a few minutes ago.
