"You have to know that this isn't going to work."

Adrianna crossed her arms over her chest, "How do you know that?"

"Because attacking Deucalion isn't going to work. He's strong. If Derek has his way, they're going to die." Scott convinced, he needed her to come tonight, he knew she was special and she could help. But he needed her on his side. That's also why he bought Isaac.

Adrianna looked from Scott to the blue eyed boy that she was absolutely fascinated with. "Why would you come to me?"

"Adrianna, you're something. You can do things that none of us can, although i'm not exactly sure what or how. We just need to talk to him, convince Deucalion to stop." Scott practically pleaded.

Adrianna sighed, she didn't want to fight, she didn't want to be forced to use her powers. But Dereks' plan did suck, and they were all idiots for thinking it didn't. And if they were going to get into a fight, and Isaac was there. She didn't know why but she wouldn't let him get hurt, nevertheless killed. She glanced between the boys and uncrossed her arms. "Fine."

---

Adrianna teleported to the abandoned shopping mall, appearing right as Scott and Isaac rolled up on his dirt bike. They both got off, their eyes staring at her. They couldn't explain it, it was amazing. Scott couldn't understand why she hated it.

"We're just going to talk to him, try to reason with him." Scott said as he took of his helmet. He looked back at Isaac and Adrianna. "That's it."

Isaac and Adriana looked at each other, their eyebrows slightly raised and the most sceptical look plastered across their faces.

"What?" Scott questioned.

"Nothing. It's just uh, I'm actually kinda hungry now." Isaac answered, walking around the bike to stand next to Scott.

Scott patted his shoulder in attempt to admit confidence. "So am I."

They walked deeper into the building, wondering how long it had been trashed, destroyed and left to the rats.

As they neared the large escalators where Deucalion stood, pretending to be the mighty god he thought he was, Adrianna felt her breath hitch. He felt confident, too confident. This plan was already spiralling.

"You didn't come alone." Deucalion stayed.

"Yeah. This is Isaac, and Adrianna."

Isaac may not have known he did it, but he moved more in front of Adrianna, shielding her from Deucalions view slightly.

"I'm not talking about Isaac and Adrianna."

They turned their heads to see Derek walk out from the shadows, fully transformed into his wolf form. He was pissed.

"You knew I would do this?" Scott questioned, rather annoyed. Derek continued to walk forwards, ignoring his friend. "Derek, don't. You can't do this and no one else get hurt. If someone else dies-"

"Him" Derek pointed a clawed finger at Deucalion. "Just him."

"Just me?" Deucalions sounded cocky, like his ego was being stroked. He was no fool. "Now, how does a blind man find his way into a place like this, all on his own?"

They slowly turned their heads to a large pillar besides the escalators to see Kali sliding down it, her claws leaving a trail of broken cement until she hit the bottom. Scott and Isaac started to back up. This was not going right. Ennis walked up behind them, from another smaller but still broken escalator. Isaac put his hand over Adrianna's shoulders, pulling her back more. The twins appeared at a landing high above them, smirking down on their prey.

Everyone growled lowly at each other, the tension piling high so quick it was making Adrianna sweat. It was a staring contest, each victim eyeing the other to see who would make the first move.

Derek decided to. He bolted towards Deucalion, roaring in anger. Kali jumped over the first escalator and nailed her foot across his face, causing him to fly to the floor.

The twins front and back flipped off the ledge, landing on the ground in one thud. They slowly turned around to see him roaring at them, the twins had transformed into one awfully hideous beast, twice the times bigger and taller than them.

That's when the fighting started. Kali and Derek going one on one, Ennis and Boyd copying the action. Scott looked to Isaac, seeing his friend already transformed and ready to fight for his pack.

Isaac ran off to attack the twins.

Scott let his head thump down in defeat. He had to fight. He had to save his friends. He threw his head back, grinding his teeth together as hair pushed through his skin, fangs elongated and he transformed into his beta wolf. He ran off to assist Isaac but was immediately grappled by the twins and thrown into the wall, leaving an awfully large dent in the cement.

Adrianna stood in the middle of the fight, her eyes darting between everyone. She couldn't do this, she couldn't fight. Every time she used her powers, she felt like she would vomit. She hated them, she hated herself. She didn't want to kill anyone. Her eyes slowly turned to Deucalion, feeling his glare burning into her. "You have to stop this." She whispered, knowing he could damn well hear her.

He smirked at her but didn't reply. He didn't need to. She knew his answer.

She suddenly yelled, her arm screaming out in pain as she felt her shoulder move slightly out of place. She doubled down, her head whipping to see Isaacs arm caught in the twins grasp, twisted back in the same way that would cause the pain she was receiving. No. Another person. How had she made a connection to Isaac? Why? Was it because of the butterflies she felt when she neared him, or the electricity that ran through her when he touched her?

She grinded her teeth together and popped her shoulder back in place, the pain searing across her chest and down her arm. She wouldn't let them hurt Isaac. She teleported in front of the twins, noticing their shock and confusion. She slammed her hand against his chest, a purple spark emitting from her hand as he flew across the room and landed with a thud against the cement.

Isaac was released from their grasp. She grabbed him as he fell. He looked up at her, "That was amazing."

She rolled her eyes and helped him to his feet, pushing his shoulder back into place. Someone suddenly grabbed her, clawed hands with a tight grasp around her shoulders, and flung her across the room. She slammed into one of the pillars, bruising and cuts littering her back. She groaned and pushed herself to her feet.

Ennis was marching towards her. He swiped at her but she ducked it and got a blow to his stomach than his kidneys. He growled before punching her hard in the face. She grabbed his fist as another incoming blow came. His other hand clawed at her waist, three large claw marks indenting themselves into her skin. She yelled, releasing his fist and stumbling to the side. Burning seared through her as blood slipped from the wound.

Ennis grabbed her arm and twisted it back so far that with one slight movement it would dislocate. He kicked her knees in and she fell to the ground with a groan. He moved his other hand to her neck, his claws pressing in his skin. She yelled, attempting to move. He had her pinned.
