"These are ultrasonic emitters. It's one of the tools we use to corral werewolves, pushing them into a direction we want them to run."

Adrianna stared at the metal stick Chris had stuck into the ground curiously, it was simple yet effective.

Chris pushed the blue diamond top down, a bright light being released that carried a sound she couldn't hear. "Gives off a high-pitched frequency that only they can hear."

"God, no kidding." Isaac breathed out, pain lacing his tone.

Adrianna looked to the three wolves, a small smirk of amusement falling upon her lips. They were all slouched over with their hands pressed tightly against their ears. At least they knew it worked. She looked to her uncle whom was mirroring her smirk.

Chris stood up, opening a case that rested in the boot of the car. It was packed neatly with 8 of the emitters. He grabbed two and handed them to Derek.

"These are gonna drive them to the school?" Derek asked rather sceptical of the plan.

Chris gave a short nod, "And then it's up to you to get them into the basement." He handed two more to Scott.

"Does anyone else want to rethink the plan where we just, uh, kill them?" Isaac asked, taking the emitters from Chris.

Adrianna raised her eyebrows, "I thought the point was to save them?"

Scott looked at her and nodded, "It is." He looked to Isaac with a nearly frustrated look. "It's going to work."

Derek looked at him with curious eyes, he truly wanted to save them but they had to consider that they might be too far gone.

Scott turned to him, as if he read his mind. "It'll work."

Adrianna ran through the forest, letting her adrenaline run through her. She loved running, the thrill of it was intoxicating. She jumped over a large fallen tree, landing the last emitter into the forest floor, letting it release a sound that didn't harm her. She bounced back onto her feet and shot through the forest again.

She suddenly slowed down at the sound of a familiar voice, carried by the same familiar feeling she received whilst she was around Derek and Cora. A frown creased her forehead as she quietly walked up to the trees ahead of her.

"I can stop her." Derek, his voice seemed shaky.

"Sure you can, by killing her." The other voice was different, full of unreleased anger and mischief.

Adrianna could see Dereks face in the moonlight, he was facing the other man whom had his back to her.

". . . .which happens to be the point of this little exercise. Deucalion wants you to kill them. He wants you to get rid of his baggage, making it easier for you to join his pack. The fact that it was supposed to happen in the vault, and not up here out in the open, doesn't change his plan. It just means Boyd and Cora are gonna kill a few innocent people first."

Adrianna let out a breath she didn't know she was holding as those words flew so easily out of the mans mouth. Deucalion. He was here, that was why the werewolves were locked up, why the tension of those boys are slowly rising up. The alpha pack was here and wanted Derek. She pulled her bottom lip between her teeth, after tonight, she was gone. Deucalion called for trouble and she wasn't about to get twirled up in it.

She let out a hot breath and glanced back at Derek's face, that mystery could be saved for another time.

Adrianna ran to the school just as Scott and Isaac were attempting to pull the locked doors open. They gave it a final tug and it gave way, revealing the dark halls of Beacon Hills High. She sighed, it's been a long time since she's seen those corridors.

They all nodded at each other before sprinting to their positions. Scott broke off to talk to Chris whom was setting his last emitter. She frowned, they were close, something brought them together and her only guess was Allison.

They slowed to a stop at the edge of the front parking lot, their eyes carefully scanning the area for any sign of Boyd and Cora.

Adrianna rolled her eyes, feeling the curiosity burning within the curly haired boy next to her. "What?"

Isaac frowned, looking to her. "What do you mean What?"

Adrianna chuckled, "What is it you want to ask? I know your itching to ask something."

Isaacs frown deepened, he stuffed his hands into his pockets. "You're just interesting, that's all."

Adrianna raised her eyebrows, was she meant to take that as a compliment?

Isaac's eyes widened in a rather cute way, "I mean, you show up here in the middle of-" He nervously chuckled, "not really the best time. And your related to the Argents and you're different."

"What makes you think that?"

"Well you're not really fooling anyone. You don't smell human, you knew about us before you got told and we all heard what you said to Chris, you have a past here. It's just all very, interesting."

Adrianna cocked her head at the blue eyed boy, his eyes swirling as he tried to figure her out without intruding on her personal life. She was impressed on what he had pieced together. She had to admit, she was intrigued by him too. Not like how she was with Derek, she felt something different, something almost pulling her towards him. "Well, you don't need to spend too much time dwelling on me, I won't be here long enough for you to figure out any more."

Isaac frowned, "Why?"

Adrianna took in a big breath, "It's a long story." She suddenly stilled, a low growling filling the silence of the night. Her eyes met Isaac, a tiredness reflecting in his.

"Oh great."

They slowly turned around to meet Boyd and Cora standing in the parking lot, roaring and snarling at them like it would make a difference. Isaac shook his hands out, his claws extending as his eyes turned a beautiful golden colour.

Before anyone could make a move, a loud honking was sounded from behind the wolves. Headlights as bright as the sun shone upon them as Chris' car nearly rammed into them.

The crazed wolves growled at the car and the obnoxious noise before fleeing towards the school. They rounded to the entrance Derek was guarding, pausing for a moment as their eyes raked over him. They growled once more before jumping up to the metal roof.

"They're not going through the school, they're going over it."
