Scott gasped awake, his eyes wide as Allison nearly fell back from shock. His breaths were heavy, but he looked more alive. "It's my fault."
"Scott, look at me."
Scott raised his eyes to Allison, their gaze catching.
Allison looked down at his wound she stitched up, it was already beginning to heal. Adrianna and Lydias plan had worked.
Scott frowned, following her gaze. "Did you do that?"
"Yeah."
Scotts face fell into a relieved expression. He closed his eyes for a moment and leant his head back against the tiled wall. "Nice."
Allison laughed, he was alright, he was going to be alright.
Adrianna let out a breathy laugh with them, even though her body was screaming to be shut down and put in a coffin. Goddamn healing wants to have its way.
Scott looked to her, a small smile coming across his lips. "You-You woke me up. Is that-?"
Adrianna gave a small smile, looking down. She knew it saved his life, she couldn't hate herself for using her powers even though it saved her best friends life. "Yeah."
Scott let another relieved smile break along his lips. He could see the fear hiding behind her eyes, but he could see some relief, some relief that she used her powers for a good reason. He just had to keep her doing it.
"Can you stand?" Allison questioned.
Scott started to lift himself up between the sink with the help of Allison. He groaned in pain, but pain that was manageable.
"Okay. Put this on."
Allison grabbed the spare shirt from his bag, carefully helping him put it over his head as to not hurt him. She grabbed his and her bag and put it on one shoulder whilst draping one of Scotts arm over them.
Adrianna carefully lifted herself up, stumbling slightly as her head swarmed. She could feel electricity running through her viens, her powers itching to wait till this wound nearly killed her.
Scott glanced at her, his eyes full of concern. "Are you okay?"
Adrianna nodded, he didn't need to know she couldn't heal as fast as him. They started to hobble out of the bathroom.
As soon as they broke into the warm sunlight of day, their ears were met with a loud cheering and yelling. A crowd had gathered around something, apparently something fairly interesting.
"Stiles, what's happening!" Scott yelled.
Stiles looked so relieved to see his best friend, his healing best friend. He ran over to them. "They went after him. I told them what was happening with him and they just went after him." He sounded almost hopeless.
Adrianna and Scotts eyes went wide. Ethan. Boyd or Isaac must have gone after Ethan.
"Who? Boyd?" They started nearly running towards the scene.
Adrianna pushed her way through the crowd, she couldn't feel anything but the need to stop them, especially if it was Isaac.
She ran to the middle of the scene to see Isaac beating Ethan to a bloody pulp against the tree, Danny huddling in the corner after obviously trying to pry him off the Ethan. She moved forwards, her anger overpowering her. She knew they were bad, she knew she wanted them dead. But not like this. She caught his fist as it came down on Ethan again, her head gripping his skin so tight it was turning white. She ignored the warmth of his fist and the electricity that shot up her arm from his touch.
Isaac slowly raised his head to her, his breathing heavy. He was pissed but also looked like a deer caught in overly bright headlights. He slowly straightened up, letting Ethan drop to the ground. His eyes were staring into hers, the blue ocean in them swirling violently. Her own breath was starting to become quicker as rage and pain crept inside her chest, leaving a burning trail. She let go of his fist as Coach ushered everyone onto the bus, stopping them staring bewildered at the couple.
"Scott's fine. He's healing."
Isaac flickered his eyes to Scott whom was still standing behind them. His lips tightened before he looked away. He knew he had bad anger, and he had everything to show for it.
Adrianna sighed, she snapped her gaze away from his absolutely gorgeous eyes. She needed to sit down and sleep, she was sick of this day. She took a step towards the entrance to the bus and stumbled, nearly falling to the dirt.
Strong arms caught her, familiar warm arms touching her skin and stopping her fall. She could feel Isaacs warmth once more and his sudden overwhelming concern for her.
"Are you okay?"
Adrianna winced as she moved to stand back up, "I'm fine."
Isaac utterly ignored her, and carefully moved her jacket back to reveal her very alive wound and fresh blood leaking down her skin. His eyes went wide, how had he not smelt it? Why wasn't she healing? Why didn't she tell anyone? "You're still injured." He hadn't let go of her and now he didn't want to.
Adrianna tightened her lips and grabbed his arms to steady herself on her feet.
"You don't heal?" He knew she was something, since the moment he met her, and especially after last night, what he saw was utterly amazing. But she could do all that, why couldn't she heal.
Adrianna looked down, feeling his confusion and questions and concern. "Not like you."
Isaac pulled his eyebrows together but didn't bother asking anymore question. She obviously didn't want to elaborate. He would make her though, when she was ready. He sighed and pulled one of her arms around his shoulders, lifting her up ever so slightly but taking most of the weight and pressure of walking from her. "Come on"
They carefully walking onto the bus, taking a seat close to the back. Adrianna tried to hide her shock and smile when Isaac sat next to her and kept his arm steadied around her. She relished in his warmth. She closed her eyes as the the bus rumbled to life.
