You could tell the bank was old and hadn't had it's doors open for many years just by the ruins of the padlocked front doors. The bad paint job had been picked at till it was barely visible, the glass was unsurprisingly not shattered yet. The only decent looking artwork on them was the familiar symbol that was bruised into Allison and Lydia.

Allison lifted her red shears to the lousy metal chain around the handles and cut it. It rattled rather loudly as it fell from its tight circle.

Adrianna cringed, looking around the dark parking lot surrounding them. No one would be anywhere near here or possibly be able to hear the sound, but she had to be cautious.

It was dead silent inside the bank and looked like an absolute dump. Papers were scattered everywhere, shelves and desks and chairs knocked over and broken. She didn't expect such a destroyed place from a simple robbery, but then again, it was 10 years ago.

Allison gently put the shears down on a table close to the entrance, resorting to crossing her arms over her chest. A car zoomed by, its light proving a dim glow on the place for a spilt second. It was loud and made Allison nearly jump when she turned to see it zoom by.

She suddenly tripping over something, her hands flailing forwards to catch her if she fell. Adrianna immediately grabbed her, pulling her back and holding her steady. She sighed, her eyes scanning the floor for a second to make sure nothing else would case such a racket.

They continued to walk further into the building, now being careful where they stepped as well as constantly looking around them. Something had changed, like the noise had awoken the walls that had been resting in their deep slumber, or perhaps, something else woke them.

Adrianna felt adrenaline, excitement, bloodlust. She felt caged, like she had been stuck in a small box and left in a cold river for days, no, months. She shook off the feeling, quietly following behind Allison. This town, it made her feel more. She's never been this intuitive of others before, and it frustrated her to no end.

Allison was suddenly grabbed by a woman with long black hair that swayed with her harsh movements. She attempted to push Allison back, twisting and turning her arms. She slammed Allison against the wall. Allison pushed forwards, lifting herself from the wall. The woman slammed her back against it, she was strong.

Adrianna snapped out of her haze and placed her tight grip on the womans shoulder. She pulled her away from Allison and threw her to the tiled ground.

Allison fell forwards, her body livid as she tried to recover. Her eyes were wide as she looked to the woman that just attacked her. "Ms Morrell?"

The woman quickly got to her feet. She gripped their wrists and pulled them into the shadows. "Keep your mouths shut and listen close. You have no idea what you just stepped into. Right now, you've got maybe 20 seconds to get your asses hidden."

"What are you doing?" Allison asked, her voice breathless and full of confusion. Since when did a school teacher attack it's students.

"Get in that storage closet over there. Lock the door. When you hear the fighting start, that's when you come out."

"What fighting?"

"You'll hear it. Now go!" The woman threw their wrists away and ran off quickly, trying to smother the fear that burned in her as she disappeared down the hall.

Allison and Adrianna looked at each other, utterly conflicted on what to do. What had they just stumbled into and why was it such a concern for them to be hidden from it. Allison looked to the closet, her chest rising and falling rapidly. She glanced out at where the woman had run off to before making a quick decision in her head. She, for some unknown reason, trusted Ms Morrell. She grabbed Adrianna and pulled her into the storage room, slamming the door shut.

The closet felt constricting, demeaning. Adrianna didn't want to hide, she wanted to know what the hell was happening.

Allison's shaky fingers fiddled for the light switch, attempting to turn it on by flicking it up and down hastily. The lights were as dead as the building. Not surprising.

Adrianna pulled her hands through her hair, about to start yelling if Allison didn't explain what she had dragged her into. But she stopped herself and her body stiffened. It was a power not like what she felt when she was around the teenagers she kept seeing. Alphas.

She held a finger to her lips at Allison and moved closer to the door. She could hear something, getting louder and louder as it got closer to the door. A tapping, consistant but not hollow. It was nearly like a walking stick for the blind. Adrianna frowned, what was a blind person doing in an abandoned bank?

The footsteps passed, oblivious. Until one stopped. One of the alphas, filled with curiosity, she could smell them. Allisons eyes met Adrianna for a spilt second before she knocked over a bottle of Ammonia. The clear liquid instantly spilled onto the floor and slid to the doorway, the smell quickly becoming overpowering, even for them.

The shadow paused for a moment longer before continuing on its way, the footsteps receding.

Adrianna let out a breath, taking a step back. She watched as Allison took off her jacket and stomped it over the liquid, attempting to mask its scent as to not draw attention to themselves. Allison ran her hand through her hair, looking to her cousin.

Adrianna frowned, her head turning to the side slightly. Something smelled, something nearly rotten. Adrianne scrambled to get her phone out, turning on the flashlight. She held it up to a nearby shelf, slowing moving it across the room. Even the storage closet seems to have been raided. The shelves were mostly knocked over.

Allison suddenly gasped, her hand flying to cover a scream, she stumbled back. Adrianna moved the flashlight an inch further, her body stiffening. The smell, it wasn't chemicals, it was a body.
