"He just let me go. Said it was a gesture of good will. No other reason." Melissa explained.

Adrianna shook her, her eyes meeting Scotts. Deucalion wouldn't just let her go, he doesn't have any goodwill.

"He had to have a reason. I don't think he does anything without a reason." Scott voiced.

Melissa nodded, "Well if that means I should continue to be profoundly terrified than don't worry about it, i got that covered."

Scott suddenly halted, putting his hand in front of his mother and Adrianna. His eyebrows were drawn together, his eyes focused. He looked to Adrianna when the sound of a gun clicking echoed down the hall. Someone else was here.

Adrianna's eyes went wide as she pulled Melissa behind her more. Who the hell was in this hospital with a gun? And why, when everyone in the town knew that the hospital was being evacuated.
She slowly followed Scott up to the edge of the wall, giving him a small nod of confidence.

They jumped out from around the corner, ready to attack whoever may be there.

They were met with a silver gun pointed at their heads and three familiar faces.

Adrianna's eyes landed on a set of swirling blue eyes and she never felt more relief than in that moment. She rushed over to Isaac, pulling him down into a hug where his scent cradled her nerves and his warmth healed her. His arms wrapped around her waist after overcoming his initial shock.

Adrianna could feel everyones eyes on them, their shock yet knowing emotions surging through them. She pulled away from him and looked to Allison and her uncle. "What are you doing here?"

"We came to make sure Cora was okay. What are you doing here?" Isaac questioned.

Adrianna looked to Scott, her lips pulling into a tight line. "We have a lot to tell you."

"So then they're essentially trapped?" Chris confirmed as they burst through the doors to a random room with no other entry or exit. They had to stay out of the halls, away from the prying eyes of the alphas.

"Yeah but there's no way of getting them out without turning the power back on." Isaac pointed out.

"Wait, wait, wait, if the power's back on, they're gonna hear the elevator moving right?" Melissa questioned.

"And they'll be on to Jennifer and Derek as soon as it stops." Scott realised. Dammit. "We can't get in a fight with them."

"Well you've got us now." Chris gestured to his daughter and Isaac.

"It's too much to risk. They want her dead and if she dies, there's nothing that we can do for Stiles' dad or Cora." Scott explained. He hated admitting it, they all did, but they needed Jennifer as much as she needed them.

"I don't even think I know which teacher this is." Chris said with furrowed eyebrows.

"She's-She's the one with the brown hair. She's kind of hot." Isaac explained.

Everyone looked at him with questioning looks and Adrianna raised her eyebrows at the curly haired boy.

"No, it's just--just an observation." Isaac attempted to recover from his mistake, his eyes slowly looking to Adrianna.

"Really?" She whispered in a harsh tone.

His mouth opened then closed as if he were to is rift his words. He looked like a child caught stealing cookies.
