escape plan

Peter walked out of the room and into the hallway where the twins stood side by side. He looked down at the needle poking out of his chest in disbelief, he could feel the adrenaline running through his body, acting as sort of a high.

Scott came out after him, trying to pump himself up.

Peter looked up at the twins, "Alright boys," His eyes shone a bright blue. "Let's rumble." He transformed into his wolf form and ran at the twins with Scott on his tail.

Derek picked up Cora carefully, gently letting her head rest against his chest. Adrianna took the lead and peered out the doors. Within the dark hallway, only illuminated by the back up generator lights, she could see Scott, Peter and the twins formed wolf fighting.
She nodded to the others and quickly ran out, hearing the footsteps of Stiles, Derek and Jennifer run behind her.

The halls were empty and they could hear the thumping of the fight above as they made their way down to the basement.

Stiles burst through the basement doors, "It's still here!"

They ran over to the ambulance parked in the middle of the garage, their shoes squeaking against the cement ground. Stiles pulled the doors open and climbed inside, helping Derek carefully lay Cora on the black gurney.

"Derek, over here." Jennifer alarmed.

Derek frowned, looking to Adrianna. He slowly walked over to the side of the ambulance where Jennifer was standing. He came across a paramedic lying on his stomach on the ground, blood pooling underneath him and large gash marks across his back.

They took a few steps towards the dead man. Did the twins do this? How? And where were the keys?

"Julia." A voice sing-songed throughout the garage.

Derek and Jennifer looked up in time to see Kali walking around the front of the ambulance, her clawed feet bloody and her fingers twirling the keys to the truck around. She stopped on the other side of the body, "It is you."

Jennifer moved behind Derek slightly, using him as a shield.

Adrianna's eyes went wide and she looked to Stiles. Kali was now joining the fight. She grabbed the doors to the ambulance and quietly closed them, shutting Stiles in with Cora despite his muffled complaints.

"You can't beat her on your own." Jennifer said to Derek as a warning.

Adrianna appeared from behind the truck, "That's why you run." She grabbed their wrists and pulled them back. A shiver ran down her spine at a wicked roar that ripped from Kali as the took of inside.

They skidded to a stop in the middle of the corridor, turning to run right and back the way they came.

"Wait, wait! The elevator!" Jennifer gasped out.

Adrianna glanced at the door ahead of them where Kali had entered from, then back to the elevator. "Derek go."

Derek looked at her, then to Kali before shaking his head slightly. He wouldn't leave her.

Adrianna rolled her eyes, "Go!"

Panic rose in Derek as he backed up into the elevator. He didn't want to leave her, but he couldn't help Cora if they were both dead. And he had faith in Adrianna.
He pressed the button for the doors to closed and pressed his back against the metal wall.

Adrianna pushed a gurney into Kali's torso, causing her to fall over it. She punched her in the face twice. Kalia growled and pushed the gurney out of the way. She kicked Adrianna in the torso, causing her to stumble back. Adrianna blocked a blow to her face with her forearm, using her available hand to jab Kali in the kidney. She grabbed Kali's hair and yanked it back before slamming her into the wall twice. Kali groaned and fell back to the ground.
