(This chapter will mainly focus on Kai and his 'adventures' in the Castle.)

"Stay here, my child. I have to get some things for you." Toriel said as she set Kai down. "C-Can I c-c-come too?" Kai asked. "I'm sorry, my child, but you're sick. You have to stay here until you get better." Toriel said. "Now, please don't leave this room." Toriel added as she left. And Kai, being the somewhat obedient child he is, just waited for Toriel to return. 5 minutes passed. 10 minutes. 20 minutes... Eventually, Kai got tired of waiting and left the room. 'Woah... This Castle is huge!' Kai thought, and went to explore the rest of the Castle.

'These hallways are unnecessarily long.' Kai thought as he walked down the 'Judgement Hall'. 'Oh, finally, something other than a hallway!' Kai thought as he entered the Throne Room. Golden flowers, planted around the thrones, just like back then. The flowers are taken care of too, as it seems. Kai tried to reach a throne without destroying the flowers nearby, but failed miserably. 'Oh well, they could always just plant new ones, right?' Kai thought as he sat on Asgore's throne. "I-I am t-the king of t-the w-w-world!" Kai exclaimed. But then, the guards kicked him out of the Throne Room. "Y-You wouldn't d-d-do that if y-you knew my p-parents!" Kai told the guards. "We already know who your parents are, we just don't care." The guards said, then returned to their duties. Kai silently complained for a few minutes, then moved on.

'How could you not care about your princess' and your future prince's son?' (I seriously had to look up how titles worked in order to make that one sentence.) Kai pondered. He then bumped onto someone. "I-I'm s-s-sorry!" Kai said. "It's okay, Kai." The figure said. Kai looked up to see Asriel smiling at him and offering to help him up. Kai accepted the gesture. "Can we play something, Uncle?" Kai asked. By now, everyone except Chara is used to being called things like that. Asriel thought for a while but eventually got an idea. "How about we play Hide & Seek? When I was your age, I was a master at it!" Asriel proudly said. I don't think Chara would agree with what you just said, Azzy. Kai just nodded. "I'll go hide, try and find me, Kai!" Asriel said. "Now, just count to 50!" Asriel added. Kai turned around and started counting. "Oh f-!" He heard Asriel yell. A few seconds later, he heard something break. He turned around before he finished counting.

Asriel managed to break 3 different pots in the span of 30 seconds.

"Mom's going to kill me!" Asriel said, while trying to clean up the mess. Kai helped him clean up but they were almost caught by Toriel. "My child, have you seen Kai?" Toriel asked Asriel. "N-no, I haven't seen him anywhere." Asriel lied. Toriel knew that Asriel lied but she let it slide and left. "Okay, you can come out now, Kai." Asriel told Kai. Kai then showed up from behind Asriel. "Now Kai, tell me. Why did you come here?" Asriel asked calmly. "I-I am s-s-sick and g-grandma wanted t-to take c-care of m-m-me..." Kai said. "I think you should go to grandma Toriel and let her take care of you. She knows what she's doing." Asriel suggested. "O-Okay, t-t-thanks Uncle!" Kai said, then left to find Toriel.

After all of that, a few days had passed. Kai was still sick but Frisk was better. I guess taking the entire bottle makes wonders.

Right now, Chara and Frisk were... uh...

I'll let you imagine what they are doing right now.

(How many people thought that I was going to kill Asriel? Be honest.)

((Asriel, swearing in front of children since 1XXX.))

(Kai was at one point adopted by the couple, I simply forgot to include it in one of the previous chapters.)
