As Chara was arriving to the Marketplace, she stopped to admire the view in front of her. Little shops, joined together, forming a small circle around what Chara believes to be the best part of the Marketplace. The Public Garden. Well, more like The Royal Garden since only Chara and Asgore actually take care of the flowers there. The garden was very beautiful and colorful. So many flowers. So many colors. It was a beautiful sight.

Chara walked towards the shops and started looking at what they were selling when suddenly...

"Hello, princess Chara Dreemurr."

"Ugh, what do you want, Frisk." Chara asked. Frisk was a merchant, coming from The Heartfelt Kingdom every day just to sell his wares. He and Chara would usually have small talk but it seems like Chara isn't feeling up to it. "Why are you so angry? Did something happen?" Frisk asked. "It's nothing, don't worry about it." Chara answered with a calm tone in her voice. "Well, if the princess says so..."

"Hello, gorgeous!"

"How many people are going to talk to me today?" Chara said, annoyed. "You're Chara Dreemurr, right? The name's Alexander." Alexander said. 'Annoying.' Chara thought. "How many times do I have to tell you 'Yes, my name is Chara Dreemurr'? And I would really like it if you left me alone for once." Chara said, emphasizing on the word 'alone'. Chara left as soon as she said that. Alexander turned to Frisk. "I know what you are trying to do. Your efforts are worthless. Chara is going to be mine. So back off." Alexander then went after Chara. Frisk just sat there, processing what Alexander just told him. 'Well, I won't go down without a fight.' He thought. Too bad that he's too much of a coward to tell her his feelings.

[Time-skip, brought to you by an Asriel wearing sunglasses.]

"Why won't you just leave me alone?!" Chara yelled. "I want nothing to do with you!" Chara added. "Playing hard-to-get, huh? Well, I like having to actually work for something." Alexander said, being terrible at picking up girls. Chara then proceeded to kick him out of the Castle. "I'll return for you, my love, I promise!" Alexander said, failing to sound heroic, and left. Chara sighed. 'Why won't he understand that I just don't feel the same way?' Chara thought, making it sound more polite than how it actually happened. The servant entered her room. "Are you okay, Ms. Dreemurr?" The servant asked. "I'm fine, I'm just thinking about tomorrow." Chara answered. The servant, satisfied with the answer, left the princess alone to look at the setting sun.
