I've always wanted to make a Pokémon Fan Fic, just never really had the motivation or confidence to do it. There are so many well received fan fics out there, I just didn't want mine be lost in the mix. All that behind me now, this is for my enjoyment. I hope you all enjoy it as well.

This will be an adventure fic, not a Reader X Whatever. Fear not shippers, there's something in here for you all as well.

It will flow as if you were playing the video game, as intended. There will be lots of battles early on and the battle scenes will be more video game like, with a dash of anime. Only Pokémon from generations 1-7 will make an appearance as the Sword and Shield games weren't released during the time I started it.

'Pokémon Unrivaled,' takes place two years after the events of BW2. Competive pokemon aspects will be a small factor in the battling (pokemon who have higher base stat will do more damage, attack first, etc,) as well as abilities and movesets. That won't be the case for every battle, though. I won't go real heavy into it, it'll be explained enough to understand without interrupting the battles. You can go to chapter 1 now if you want.

~My History With Pokémon~

My first game was Pokémon Crystal on the Gameboy Color back in 2007, I was hooked instantly. I've owned and played every game in the main series, some spin offs and got into casual competive play in gen 6 (X/Y, OR/AS ). Took a break stopped, then came back briefly for Sw/Sh.

I haven't played in awhile, but I still watch competitive battling. Now a days I stay in tuned with Pokémon by playing rom hacks and fan-made games.
