Chapter 13

"Hi Courtney!"

"Breen! I missed you! Ang daya daya mo talaga."

"Sorry na. I hope you understand. Di ko naman sinasadyang makalimutang sabihan ka about our plan. And to compensate for that, look what i got for you." Thank God natulungan ako ni Chad to complete the signed CDs.

"OMG Breen, this is their latest album. Meron na ako nito, pero dahil may signature nila and bigay mo, I love this more."

"I'm glad you liked it. So hindi ka na nagtatampo?"

"You really think i will get angry with you? Dear, lambing ko lang sa'yo yun."

"Hahaha." Nagkatawanan na lang kami.

"So what's up with you?" Tanong ni Courtney.

Hindi ko alam kung dapat ba ako magkwento sa kanya or next time nalang.

"Something's bothering you?" She asked me.

"Courtney, what do you think about Chad?"

Nanlaki mata ni Courtney. "Don't tell me you like him?"

Nahalata ni Courtney ang worried look ko. "Are you worried that I still like him?"

Hindi ako nakasagot.

"Look Breena, that was like almost a decade ago. Ng makita ko siya ulit after so many years, akala ko may feelings pa ako sa kanya. Then I started reflecting on my feelings, and found out it's nothing but full of what ifs. I'm not really in love with him. So please, harapin mo yung feelings mo and don't try to hide it, especially from me."

"Kaya lang, I think she's still in love with someone else."

"Hmm, tell me, asan na yung girl?"

"You know Bea?"

"Bea? The artist?"

"Yes."

"He's in love with her? Di ba lumabas sa news na may boyfriend na siya and she's pregnant with her boyfriend?"

I wanted to tell her about Chad, Bea and Blue. But I think it's not right to tell her about it. Tama na siguro yung about Chad having feelings with Bea.

"Naku Breen, don't worry, you still have a chance with Chad. May boyfriend ng iba yung kaagaw mo."

I went home, thinking about what Courtney said. Tama siya. I may still have a chance with Chad. Kaya lang hindi pa rin ako sigurado about his feelings for Bea. What if hindi pa din talaga siya nakakamove-on.

"Hi Zabrina!"

"Hi Chad! Ang aga mo ata today. And where are the rest? Bakit mag-isa ka lang?"

"Actually, gusto talaga kita makausap eh?"

"Why? Something's wrong?"

"Gusto lang kita kausapin about what happened. Alam ko nag-aalala ka na hindi pa din kami okay ni Blue." I was just listening to him.

"And about sa past namin ni Bea, I'm sure nagulat ka din. Bea, Blue and I were the first trainees of this company. I fell in love with Bea during that time, but Bea fell in love with Blue, and Blue felt the same for her too. Kaya they ended up being in a relationship.

"Wait Chad, you don't have to tell me about this. You don't have to share your personal life, if it's hard for you to say."

"I feel like I need to tell you this. I don't know why, pero magaan talaga loob ko sayo. Feeling ko mas magiging comfortable ako if malalaman mo yung past ko."

"If that will make you feel good, then please continue."

"Nang malaman ko na gusto nila ang isa't isa, nalungkot ako, pero naging masaya ako for Blue. He's my bestfriend. And I am happy that he started opening up to others to, besides me. Blue came from a broken family and mahirap para sa kanya ang magtiwala sa iba. Madalas siya magsleep-over sa bahay. Kaya kahit broken hearted ako, masaya ako para sa kanya."

"Over time, I was able to move-on from my feelings for Bea. And she just became the little sister I never have."

"So ano naramdaman mo ng nagkahiwalay sila ni Blue?"

"Honestly? I felt that it's what's best for both of them."

"Ha? Bakit naman?"

"Busy si Bea palagi sa schedule niya, and hindi na din sila nagkakatime para sa isa't isa. Blue will always be waiting for her, and nakikita ko yung disappointment niya. Kaya mas okay ng nagkahiwalay sila, atleast wala nang ineexpect si Blue from her, and makapag-move on na siya."

"Do you think he was able to move on?"

"That I am not sure. Blue is good in keeping his feelings. He's good in hiding it. Are you worried about him?"

Nagulat ako sa tanong ni Chad. Di ko ineexpect yun. But I was quick enough to think of the right answer. "Yes, of course. He's our talent and ayoko madistract siya over this matter with Bea. I understand that he's human too with feelings, but the longer he dwells on it, the more it will destruct him."

"You're right. Kaya nga lagi ko siyang inaalalayan. Kaya nga ng malaman ko yung about kay Bea, nagalala ako for him. Baka may gawin siyang hindi makakabuti for him."

Lumipas ang isang oras, and feeling ko ang dami na naming napag-usapan. Nagdatingan na ang members ng Chronicles, unang pumasok ng room si Blue. As usual, masama na naman ang tingin niya ng makitang magkausap kami ni Chad. 

"Zabrina, ang aga mo dumating ah. Magkasama pa kayo ni Chad. Siguro may sikreto kayo no?"

"Grabe ka Brent. Kung anu-ano na naman iniisip mo." Sinimangutan ako ni Drake. Aba, problema ng mokong na to? Naisip ko.

"Alam mo Chad, minsan nagdududa na ako eh. Siguro nililigawan mo na ito si Zabrina no?"

"Tumigil ka na nga Brent. Wag mo ng ipilit yung dalawa. Hindi sila bagay no."

"Grabe ka naman Blue. Boto naman ako kay Chad and Zabrina eh." Sagot ni Clyde.

"Bakit di natin tanunging si Chad, kung anong tingin niya kay Zabrina." Sagot ni Blue.

Ngumiti lang si Chad.
