when i left the bathroom, i went straight inside the my room. i saw hyejin lying peacefully, her arms and legs wrapped around a long pillow. her face relaxing, and her mouth seems like it's pouting.
i smiled, and went to her.
i slowly pushed her aside, and laid beside her. she smiled when she felt my body beside her, knowing i was with her. she clinged into me, and placed her head on my chest. slowly she wrapped her arms on my stomach.
i placed my hand on her head, as i stroked her hair. this way, it helped her more to sleep. when someone touches your hair, it feels good that you get goosebumps and eyes started to close.
"i..." my throat bobbed, i hesitated. "i love you hyejin..." i muttered, my cheeks heated. thought that she wouldn't react. but she did.
"i love you too lucas.." i felt her smile, as she hugged me tighter.
a tear escaped my eye, i tried holding them back by chewing on my lips. oh hyejin, my love. what should i do? i am too afraid to say it to you, to spit it out. i am a coward, yes i am. if i say it, it seems like i broke her heart too. seems like i finished the mission, it sounds like i did the mission.
