VS Leaf (Red)

The sky was blue, the clouds were hiding the sun completely, the brightness was average and the weather was pleasant. The gentle cold breeze raced through my body which gave a sudden shiver.

Leaf and I were really happy that we had two Gym Badges. We couldn't even stop looking at those badges. Then a really good idea snapped in my head.

The idea was, um, to battle Leaf. I know it would be fun but this would not be a friendly battle, it would be a serious battle.

'Um, Leaf ? I want to challenge you to a Pokemon Battle', I said, I didn't feel like she was going to accept the challenge.
'A battle ?', said Leaf, making herself sure.
'You heard right. A battle', I replied in sudden confidence.
'Alright', said Leaf. 'Let's get started'.
'You know I can defeat you', I said.
'I know you can, just because of your Pikachu', said Leaf. 'But I have an idea to defeat Pikachu'.
'Okay', I said. 'I choose you, Charmeleon'.

Leaf gave a smile and took three to four seconds to choose her Pokemon. 'Okay, go Vulpix', she said.

'Charmeleon, use Ember', I said.
But Ember didn't effect Vulpix at all.
'Ha, Vulpix can resist that. Use Will-o-wisp', said Leaf. Charmeleon was critically hit.
'Oh-boi. Charmeleon, use Metal Claw', I said.
The Metal Claw was so yesterdays but it gave some cool damage to Vulpix.

The battle was getting interesting and I had a very bad idea. The idea was to switch Charmeleon.

'Vulpix, Flamethrower', said Leaf.
It was a critical hit and Charmeleon was hurt by its burn.
'Charmeleon, come back. Go Nidorino', I said.
Nidorino had a really good advantage against Vulpix.
'Vulpix, Will-o-wisp', said Leaf.
'Nidorino, Double Kick', I said.
Vulpix was poisoned.
'Vulpix, Roar', said Leaf.

Vulpix roared and Nidorino was sent back in its Pokeball and Pidgey was sent out. I hated this roar attack. Pidgey was weak against Vulpix but I couldn't even switch Pokemon.

'Pidgey, Gust', I said.
'Vulpix, Flamethrower', said Leaf.
Pidgey fainted.
'Come back, go Pikachu', I said.
'Oops, not now. Vulpix, Roar', said Leaf.

But Pikachu wasn't scared at all. He stood still and then took a nice thunderbolt position.

'Pikachu, Thunderbolt', I said.

Vulpix fainted.

'Oh no, Vulpix come back. Go Bulbasaur', said Leaf.
'That's your great plan ?', I asked.
'Bulbasaur, Leech Seed', said Leaf.
Pikachu was seeded. Bulbasaur took Pikachu's energy.
'Pikachu, Thunderbolt', I said.
Bulbasaur held on.
'Well done, Bulbasaur use Razor Leaf', said Leaf.

Pikachu fainted.

'Whoa, that was amazing', I said.
'Told you, I had a plan', said Leaf.
'That was just your good luck', I said. 'Okay, go Charmeleon'.
'You have a type advantage', said Leaf.
'Yes, I do. Charmeleon, use Ember', I said.

Bulbasaur fainted.

'Go Rattata', said Leaf.
'Charmeleon, use Ember', I said.
'Rattata, use Hyper Fang', said Leaf.
'Charmeleon, Metal Claw'.

Rattata fainted.

'Go Mankey. Use Fury Swipes', said Leaf.

Charmeleon fainted.

'Okay, go Nidorino', I said.
'Mankey, low kick'.
'Nidorino, double kick'.

Mankey fainted.

Leaf was now upset a little bit. 'Go Spearow'.
'Nidorino, Peck', I said. Spearow was poisoned.
'Spearow, use Pursuit', said Leaf.

Nidorino fainted.

Spearow flashed blue and grew in shape and size and finally evolved. Leaf pointed the Pokedex towards it.
