One by Two of Kanto (Red)

'Charmeleon, Flamethrower'.

It was a powerful attack but Vileplume didn't fainted. It's health was critical, Vileplume was scared that it would loose.

So, leaving the fight, Vileplume ran away behind a tree. Erika went to find him but he was gone.

'Sorry, but I have to choose some other Pokémon', said Erika.
'Why ? Wouldn't Vileplume fight ?', I asked.
'If a Pokémon runs away from a battle, the Pokémon automatically looses', she said.
'Okay', I said.
'Go Tangela', she said.
'Charmeleon, use Flamethrower', I said.
'Tangela, Sludge Bomb', said Erika.

Charmeleon was poisoned, it was hurt by its poison.

'Oops, I don't have an antidote. Charmeleon, Flamethrower', I said.

Charmeleon's attack missed. Charmeleon was hurt by its poison. Charmeleon fainted.

'Come, back. You did a great job. Go Saur', I said.
'You caught a Bulbasaur ?', asked Leaf.
'I adopted it', I said.
'Tangela, Sludge Bomb', said Erika.

It wasn't very effective.

'Saur, Sleep Powder', I said.

Tangela fell asleep.

'Saur, use Vine Whip', I said.
'Tangela, please wake up', said Erika.
'Saur, use Tackle', I said.

Tangela fainted.

'Come back, go Weepinbell', said Erika.

Leaf and I together pointed out Pokedexes.

'Weepinbell, a Flycatcher Pokémon. The spits parts poison power cutters immobilise slashing the enemy and then finishes it with
spits spray of fluid acid that dissolves everything', explained the Pokedex.

A voice said in my mind - the Pokedex was confused. It killed itself in its confusion.

'Stop, this is confusing', I said.

I pointed the Pokedex again.

'Weepinbell, a Flycatcher Pokémon. The leafy parts act as cutters for slashing foes. It spits a fluid that dissolves everything', explained the Pokedex.

'Weepinbell, use Vine Whip', said Erika.

A critical hit.

'Saur, use Vine Whip', I said.

It wasn't very effective.

'Weepinbell, Vine Whip', said Erika.

Saur fainted.

'Come back, Go Jolteon', I said.

'Use, whatever you can't, I said, unaware of its moves.

Jolteon used Thunderbolt. Weepinbell fainted.

'Come back, go Parasect', said Erika.

I pointed out the Pokedex.

'Parasect, a Mushroom Pokémon. It scatters toxic spores from the mushroom cap. In China, the spores are used as herbal medicine', explained the Pokedex.

'Jolteon, use Quick Attack, if you know how to', I said.

Jolteon used Quick Attack, the attack was very powerful. It was a critical hit.

'Parasect, use Stun Spore', said Erika.

Jolteon was paralysed.

'Jolteon, use Quick Attack', I said.

Jolteon was paralysed, it couldn't move.

'Parasect, use Leech Life', said Erika.
'Jolteon, come back. Go Nidorino, use Double Kick', I said.

Parasect fainted.

'You won, here. It is the Rainbow badge and the proof that you won my gym', said Erika.

I took the Rainbow Badge and pinned it to the inside of my jacket where the other three badges were.

'And this is the TM Giga Drain, you can teach this to your Pokémon', said Erika.

I booted the TM and taught Saur how to use it. Saur forgot Tackle and learnt Giga Drain.

Meanwhile...Vileplume was somewhere in the Gym, Erika went to check where he was.

He was with some other Vileplume.

'Vileplume ?', said Erika.
'He was with his friend', I said.
'Perhaps, that convinces me about why he ran like that', said Erika.

After getting the Rainbow Badge, we went outside and to the PokeCentre.

We got our Pokémons to full health.

'So, where to ?', I asked.
'Saffron City', said Leaf.
'What about going to the Game Corner ?', I asked, merrily.
