Dojo Makes You Perfect(Red)

It was hot, the sunlight almost burnt my feet. I and Leaf had been walking for an hour now, give or take, and we still didn't reach Saffron.

I remembered that the entrance was next to the Underground Path but we didn't see that either.

Or in short - We were lost !

'Red ? I think we should go back and start again', said Leaf, tired. Leaf dropped her bag on the dry soil which still had some of its dried out flowers left.

I listened to Leaf for once and we walked back to Celadon, it wasn't very far away. That proves that we were really lost on some route.

'There is the path leading to Saffron City', said Leaf pointing towards a yellow brick road.

'Yeah, as if we are going to Emerald City from the Wizard of Oz', I said, chuckling.

'Ughm, ughm. I don't think we are', said Leaf, clearing her throat.

Suddenly, a voice was heard.
'Wait', it was one of the Receptionist from the Game Corner.

We both started thinking what she was going to say.

She kissed Leaf on her cheek and said,' Thank you both'.

Then, she kissed me on my cheek, my cheeks turned pink (I could say that because they do when someone....uh).

'You got our Game Corner out of the control of that crazy Team Rocket', she said. 'Our manager wanted to thank you with presenting some Game Corner Awards'.

She handed Leaf a Pokeball. It was just a regular Pokeball, the one with the red and white pattern. And then she handed me a TM disk and wished us good luck.

Unaware of what the Pokémon or the TM was, we faced the PokeCenter.

I glanced a look at the TM while walking, it said - Hyper Beam.

'Oh, dear....this, this is a Hyper Beam', I said, surprised.
'Nice, let's see what's this. Go Pokémon', said Leaf.

A Dratini came out. It was just like a normal Dratini but was indeed bigger in size. It was about our height. I wondered how the Dragonite would look like.

'Whoa', I said. My eyes popped out.

'Yess ! Now I can say that I can defeat you', said Leaf.

Leaf transferred her Diglett to Oak and kept Dratini in the team. I was kinda jealous by her getting that Pokémon.

I really loved a Dragonite. Charizard and Dragonite would become a good match to one another. Can't wait until Charmeleon evolves.

I would teach Charizard, Hyper Beam.

Without any wastage of time, we started walking, again. Luckily, this time the sun was hiding behind the clouds, which obviously made us less perspire.

I realised that Saffron City wasn't really far. It was about a twenty minute walk from Celadon, we were just going in the wrong direction earlier.

In no time, a gate was in sight. It was a huge iron one. It was rusted from almost everywhere.

Saffron City was carved in big alphabets on the gate with the same condition of iron.

We walked inside. It was very dull. One could only see yellow and purple colour.

The roads were made of yellow bricks. The houses were yellow but their roofs had purple colour.

I was feeling uneasy. The place was disturbing, Leaf gritted her teeth, then she made a pony of her open hair. She looked nice in a pony tail too. The hair stopped falling on her face and I could now see her entire face (Yeah, it wasn't visible completely before).
