League Begins (Red)

'Go Hypno', said Walter.

'Go Nidoking', I said.

'Hypno, Phychic', said Walter.

'Nidoking, Horn Attack', I said.

Nidoking was badly hit.
Hypno' was hurt with Horn Attack.

'Hypno, use Hypnosis'.

Nidoking was asleep.

'Hypno, use Psychic'.

Nidoking remained asleep.

'Hypno, Psychic'.

Nidoking woke up.

'Hypno, Future Sight'.

'Nidoking, Horn Drill'.

Hypno fainted. Nidoking fainted due to Future Sight attack.

'Go Lickitung', said Walter.

'I choose Bulbasaur', I said.

'Lickitung, use Stomp'.

Lickitung smashed Bulbasaur's head into the ground with it's feet.

'Bulbasaur, you okay ?', I asked. Bulbasaur got up and smiled at me. 'Alright then, use Solarbeam'.

Bulbasaur collected Solar Energy. But there was hardly any. It was sunset time.

'Lickitung, use Ice Beam'.

Bulbasaur's leg froze solid, he couldn't move. 'Bulba', said Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur released the Solar energy absorbed on to Lickitung.

Lickitung fell back and fainted.

'Come back, Lickiting', said Walter. 'Go Venusaur'.

'Bulbasaur, use Vine Whip', I said. The attack wasn't effective. Venusaur was Bulbasaur's last stage.

'Venusaur, use Body Slam'. Bulbasaur fainted.

'Come back', I said. 'Go Charizard'.

'Venusaur, Solar Beam'. But the sun had set.

'Nice try. Charizard, use Dragon Rage', I said.

Charizard used Dragon Rage perfectly.

Venusaur fainted in one hit.

'Venusaur, come back. Go Starmie'.

'Charizard, use Fire Blast'.

'Starmie, Water Pulse'. It was a critical hit.

'Charizard, use Flamethrower'. Starmie' fainted. His Pokémon were low level.

'Come back, go Butterfree'.

'Charizard, Flamethrower'. Charizard's attack missed.

'Butterfree, Sleep Powder'. Charizard fell down and started sleeping.

'Butterfree, use Psychic'. Charizard continued sleeping.

'Butterfree, use Confusion'. Charizard was still asleep.

'Butterfree, Silverwind'. Charizard fainted.

'Charizard, come back. Go Hitmonlee'.

'Butterfree, Silver Wind'.

'Hitmonlee, High Jump Kick'.

'Butterfree, Confusion'. Hitmonlee fainted.

'Come back, go Pidgeotto'.

'Butterfree, use Psychic'.

'Pidgeotto, use Aerial Ace'. Butterfree fainted.

'Come back, Go Electabuzz'.

'Pidgeotto, use Wing Attack'.

'It is our last Pokemon and I have a type advantage. Electabuzz, use Thunderpunch'.

Pidgeotto flew up high and avoided the punch. 'Use Steel Wing'.

Electabuzz fainted.

'Walter has no more Pokemons to fight with, Red wins', said the Announcer.

'Congratulations, Red', shouted Professor Oak who sat behind the judges.

'Professor !', I shouted in merry.

I went inside and got my Pokemons healed.

'Great match', said Leaf. 'I didn't see it from the start but the end was awesome'.

'Sorry, I didn't see your match', I said.

'It's alright', said Leaf. 'But the good thing is that we won'.

'Yes', I said.

'Red, Leaf, your next match will be held tomorrow', said the Receptionist.

'Okay', said Leaf.

'And the pairing will also happen tomorrow ?', I asked.

'Yes', said the Receptionist.

'Let's go', I said. 'Ash is also here'.

We rushed to a different Indigo Stadium. There were like five of those and a main one where the Champion battle would be.

'Pikachu, use Thunderbolt', said Ash.

'Trainer Ritchie wins, Ash loses', said the Announcer.

We missed the whole match. I was sad for Ash.

We sat in the PokeCentre. 'Only ten people left in the League', said Leaf.

'I am really sorry for you', I said. 'But you always learn a lesson to be better after losing'.

'Ash', said Professor Oak. 'Red and Leaf too. Ash I want you to know that it doesn't matter if anyone here win or lose, the best thing is that you are participating in a Pokémon League. If in the first try you all got to a League, the next try would lead you to a victory'.

'What do you mean ?', I asked.

'I want Ash to go to the Orange Islands. There is a whole Pokemon League in those islands. But I want you to get a parcel from a Professor called Ivy from the Islands. I'll tell you about it later and I'm sure you'll win the Orange League', said Oak.

Oak and Ash walked upstairs to the rooms.

'Oak is just sending him to get the GS Ball', I said.

'Let's go', said Leaf. 'Dinner would be served in the rooms'.

'Big day tomorrow', I said. 'If we win, we'll get to fight the Elite Fours'.

At night, I didn't have any dream but I woke up for water. I was full of thirst. I climbed down the bunk bed and searched for a water bottle in the room.

Luckily, I got one. I drank water and pink light entered the room. I quickly kept the bottle aside and went towards the window.

It was Mew outside, not flying but just on the other side of the window, looking at me. I remembered the night when I saw Mew. I woke up to drink water, I was thinking and I saw Mew.

'Mew', I said.

'Mew', said Mew.
