'Now tell me. Why are you sad ?', I asked.
'Because my mom asked me to come back. We are shifting to Sinnoh now', she said.
'What ?', I said.
'Yes, I have to go today', said Leaf.
'Today ?', I asked.
'Not today, right now', she said.
'But-', I said. She dropped her bag and hugged me. She cried continuously for ten minutes and then stopped.
'Bye, Red', she said.
She walked away, leaving me alone on the street. I was feeling very sad and shocked.
The weather was becoming violent, thunderclaps could be heard loudly. It was getting darker because of the thunderclouds. Then, it started raining heavily. What could you expect in the month of October ?
Suddenly, it felt like I was alone in the world. I closed my eyes and controlled my tears not to come out. Then, I sent out Pikachu. I shared everything with him and he gave me a thumbs up.
He probably understands what happens when a person close to you leaves you. Happened to Pikachu too.
'Hey, buddy. What should I do ?', I asked.
'Pi, Pikachu', he said.
'Maybe you are right, we should continue our journey', I said.Pikachu gave a cute smile. I was smiling again.
Quickly, I turned on the map on the Pokedex. We walked towards the Bike Shop which was not very far.
There I finally got a bike, that too for free.
Pikachu sat inside the basket in the front of the bike and I rode it. It also had a mobile phone holder where I stuck Pokedex for navigation.
We were on some Route between Cerulean City and Rock Tunnel.
'Hey, wait', shouted a girl's voice which was very familiar.
I searched for any existence of a person near me. But there was no one.
I continued when Pikachu pointed towards a girl.
I knew her, she was the girl we travelled with in Mount Moon.
She wore the same yellow coloured clothes which you would call an outfit. She came running.
'Hi', she said, taking deep breaths after running.
'Hey, you live here ?', I asked.
'Yes. Where is your girlfriend ?', she asked.
My cheeks turned red.
'She is not my girlfriend', I said.
'Just messing with you. So, what brings you here ?', she asked.
'Lavender Town', I said.
'Rock Tunnel ?', she said.
'Yes', I said.
'You'll never make it out of that crazy tunnel', she said.
'What do you mean ?', I asked.
'I mean that you cannot go without a precise map', she said.
'And do you have a map ?', I asked.
'No, I don't. But my uncle has', she said.
'And where does he live ?'.
'My father lives in Viridian City. He sent me here to learn about Pokémon from my uncle Wilson, he is a fisherman', she said.
'Great', I said.'But first you have to help me', she said.
'In what ?', I asked.
'Catching a Pokémon', she said.
'What Pokémon ?', I asked.Suddenly, the tall grass shook and a Caterpie came out.
'That Pokémon', she said.
'A Caterpie ? You can't catch a Caterpie ?', I said. That was the easiest thing you can ever encounter.
'Hey', she said.
'Wait', I said. 'Take this Pokeball and throw at it'.
'Oh, I don't have a Pokeball. I catch Pokémons with a net', she said.
'Just do it, fast', I said.
'It will get hurt with the Pokeball', she said.
'Are you crazy, do it fast or else you'll end up being inside a string shot', I said. She closed her eyes and threw the Pokeball.
Caterpie went inside and the Pokeball shook. And then flashed. Caterpie was caught.'Thank you very much', she said.
'You are welcome', I said.
'So, am I supposed to just throw Pokeballs ?', she asked.
'No, you have to battle the Pokémon and then just make it weak and then throw Pokeball. But Caterpie can be caught just like that', I said.
'Oh', she said. 'Can I have another Pokeball ?', she asked.
'Yeah sure', I said.I gave her another Pokeball.
'Hey, come out Pokémon', she said.
She was exactly like a five year old kid. She literally didn't want to throw a Pokeball because the Pokémon would get hurt, what logic is that.
Suddenly, a Rattata came out.
'Ratty Pokémon', said the girl.
'Battle it', I said.
'Okay. Go Caterpie', she said. 'Use String shot'.Rattata used Tackle.
'Caterpie, use Tackle', she said.
Rattata used Tackle but it's attack missed because of the string shot.
'Caterpie, use Tackle', she said.
She then threw the Pokeball on the Rattata.
The ball shook and flashed. Rattata was caught.'Thanks you, uh', she said. 'What is your name ?'.
'Red', I said. 'And yours ?'.
'Amarillo', she said. 'Amarillo del Bosque Verde'.
'What ?', I asked, confused.
'Call me Yellow', she said.
'Okay, Yellow', I said. She took me to her uncle's house where he made a rough map on a paper and gave it to me. I then continued on my bike with Pikachu.
'Bye', said Yellow.
'Bye and thank you', I said.We waved our hands towards each other and I went inside the Rock Tunnel.
