The Ninja (Red)

Janine rushed towards the vessel and looked at the computers set up there.

We followed her further into the cave.
The cave had another place just like that, but there was no vessel, no Pokemon, just man sitting on a chair and tied with ropes.

Nobody else was there.

'Dad', said Janine. 'I knew you were in trouble'.

'Dad ?', I whispered to Leaf.

Leaf gave a - I don't know - gesture.

Janine untied the ropes herself and the man stood up.

'Let's get outta here', said Janine.

We got outside the Safari Zone and safely got to the Gym.

'You said you had something similar to that red thing', said Janine. 'Can you tell what it is ?'.

'I can show you', I said.

I took out the box carefully out of my bag.

Janine held it with care and opened it. She took out the bigger stone that looked exactly like the one Giovanni had but was blue.

'This looks exactly like that stone', said Janine.

The man looked carefully at the stone.

'This is no ordinary stone', said the man. 'It is a mega stone'.

'A mega stone', I said. 'Professor Oak told me a few things about it but I didn't understand any of it'.

'It will give an extra evolution to a fully evolved Pokemon. A mega evolution', said the man.

'Which Pokemon ?', I asked.

'Every Pokemon has it's own special stone. You have to figure out that which Pokemon becomes more powerful around this stone', said the man.

'And the other stone ?', I asked.

'Key stone', said the man. 'The trainer combines his power with the Pokemon holding this mega stone, then only the evolution would be successful'.

'But you have to figure out to which Pokemon it belongs to', said Leaf.

I held the stone in my hands. I tried to keep it inside the box but it was pulled back towards the my Pokeballs on my belt.

'And luckily you have that Pokemon', said the man.

I brought the stone closer to the Pokeballs and one of them glowed yellow and fell off the belt.

'That's the one', said the man.

I kept the stone inside the box and safely into my bag.

I picked up the Pokeball.

'This is Charizard's Pokeball', I said.

I hooked the Pokeball back to my belt.

'So when is your master coming ?', I asked Janine.

'He is my Master', said Janine, looking towards her father.

'You are Koga ?', I asked.

'Yes, I am', said the man.

'I am here to challenge you', I said.

'I am a Ninja, we don't reject any challenge', he said.

He took us to the battle arena.

'It would be four Pokemon battle', said Koga. 'I choose Venonat'.

'A Venonat ?', I said, pointing the Pokedex.
