Cinnabar Once More (Red)

Leaf, Mom and I stayed at Blue's house. His elder sister Daisy was very kind and helped us with everything.

The net morning, Leaf woke me up and said ,'Bye, Red'. I got up instantly.

'Leaf, it's time', said Mom. 'I'll drop you to the Airport, I'm glad my car survived'.

'Mom, I'll drop her', I said.

'But you don't have a driving liscence', said Mom. 'How would you drop her ?'.

'Who needs a car if we have Charizard ?', I asked. 'I'll drop her'.

'Okay', said Mom. 'Bye, Leaf'.

Leaf hugged my Mom. She waved to Daisy, Blue's sister. We walked outside and I sent out Charizard. We sat on him and flew towards the Airport which was in Pewter City. 'I will badly miss you', said Leaf.

'I will too', I said. 'I would stop you if I could but I know you have to go'.

We reached Pewter City, the travel seemed very short, it took me three days to reach there on foot.

'We're here', I said. Charizard dived down and stopped slowly.

I and Leaf got down. 'Bye, Red', said Leaf. She hugged me and I said ,'Don't go'.

'I'll come back', said Leaf. 'I promise'.

I was crying, so was Leaf. I looked behind and Charizard too had tears in his eyes.

'Bye, Charizard', said Leaf.

Suddenly, all my and Leaf's Pokemons got out of their Pokeballs.

Everyone of them waved to each other.  Leaf called hers back and walked inside the Airport. We stood there for a while and my Pokemons touched their Pokeballs and went inside.

'Let's go Charizard', I said.

I sat on Charizard's back and he flew as fast as could to Pallet Town. When we reached there, I saw Professor Oak waving at us.

Charizard dived and stopped gently.

'Red, could you go to Seaform Islands ?', asked Professor Oak. 'It's urgent'.

'Okay', I said. 'But when ?'.

'Now', said Oak. 'Fly towards South, right now'.

'But why ?', I asked.

'A legendary Pokemon has been spotted after a long time', said Oak. 'Go'.

Charizard flew up high and was very fast. We were above the ocean in no time.

An island could be seen from where we were. Charizard flew towards the island.

As we got closer, I recognised by the volcano that it was Cinnabar Island.

'Charizard, slow down', I said.

Charizard dived down but this time, we crashed into a building.

'Bad idea', I said, lying in the ground.

Charizard slowly got up. He hardly had any energy left. I called him back and continued inside the house.

It wasn't even a house, it was a Mansion. I looked here and there for any exits. But, no luck. Suddenly, a statue appeared.

It was a statue of something that looked like Mew. It was a Mew but the height was more than a Mew and the thing stood on two legs.

Beneath the statue was written, Project Mew-2 by Dr. Fuji. Wasn't the guy in Lavender Town also Fuji ? Project Mew-2 was the same thing I read in the computer in Team Rocket's Base in Pokemon League.

By the side was a room. I walked inside, the room was empty except a table was in the middle. On the table, was a dusty old book.

I rushed towards it and picked it up. I blew some air into it and the title revealed.

Mew : Mystery or a Myth ?, said the title.

I opened the book. It was a diary entry. I read it out loud.

'October 5, 1985. I and my colleagues went to an old temple in South America which was considered the oldest. And I found a very peculiar thing, a picture beneath which was written - Mew', I said. 'By then, Mew was considered a myth and no one actually knew how it looked like. Behind the picture was a space where a box was kept. We found a DNA sample of Mew inside and concluded that it was the strongest Pokemon. We ran some tests to clone it to make another Mew, because Mew was one of it's kind. But the test failed and a very dangerous Pokemon was created'.

A dangerous Pokemon ? Is that such a thing on this Earth ? I continued to the next page.

'March 5, 2009. The clone opened it's eyes for the first time and every scientist was afraid. We knew our experiment wasn't successful, because it looked nothing like Mew. It broke my Mansion and flew away in rage. Project Mew-2 was over and the Mew-2 flew away', I said.

So the Pokemon was called Mew-2, I rechecked and the spelling was 'Mewtwo' and not 'Mew-2'.

I closed the book and left it there. I sent out Charizard and flew upwards from the broken ceiling. The more important thing was, to meet Mr.Fuji in Lavender Town.

But if the Pokemon in Seaform Islands was Mewtwo ?
