The Night Of The Ghost (Red)

Mom was still in the Johto Region with her friends. I, Leaf and Sabrina stayed at my house for many days now.

I was mostly tired of removing snow from the front door and the lawn. Leaf just made the food and Sabrina watched TV while cleaning off the dust with her psychic powers. My mom's Meowth played with Pikachu all the time.

I bet this month's electricity bill was going to multiplied by four or maybe five times because of Leaf and Sabrina who watched Harry Potter all day or sometimes Lord of the Rings.

I always argued them to change the film to Thor the dark world that released in November. It was a month since that movie released and I didn't even watch it.

It was night time, both of them still watched TV, I was kind of irritated by them now. I pulled out my old Game Boy Advance console and began to play Super Mario.

'Aaaahhhh !', shouted Sabrina.

I ran downstairs thinking that she broke something with that scream and obviously not because she screamed.

'What happened ?', I asked.

Sabrina was panicking and behaved like she was afraid of something. She was perspiring too much that I could literally fill up a bucket of sweat. And I know that's gross.

'Red, look over there', said Leaf, pointing at a shadow formed on a curtain.

It was some Pokémon's shadow coming from outside the house.

'So what ? It's just a Pokemon, you both are acting like you saw a ghost or something. And believe me, there is nothing like ghosts', I said.

'Do you know what that is ?', asked Sabrina.

'Nope', I said. 'Should I ?'.

'It is a ghost type Pokemon called Gengar', said Sabrina. 'It is strong against Psychic types like me'.

'But-', I said. 'You are not a Pokemon'.

'Ghost types drain my energy', said Sabrina. 'They scare me most of the time'.

'And they will, because they are ghost types', I said.

Suddenly, a very attractive smell came from nowhere, I started to walk towards the main door as I inhaled.

Sabrina stopped me. 'See, Gengar is manipulating you', said Sabrina.

The shadow was still there. Leaf took out the Pokedex and searched Gengar. I too peeked inside.

The photo was resembling the shadow. I was afraid too now, what if Gengar stole my Pokemon and give it to Team Rocket. We couldn't take any chances.

'What do we do now ?', I asked.

'I am going to your room, Red', said Sabrina. 'Come on Leaf, we should hide'.

Suddenly, Sabrina and Leaf got up and started walking towards the main door.

I stopped my breath for a few seconds so that I don't follow them.

Sabrina and Leaf bumped into the door again and again. I didn't do anything, opening the door was like inviting ghosts for dinner when you knew they were gonna eat you.

Sabrina's eyes shone purple and the door opened automatically.

I didn't go outside to follow them. They both walked outside.

For half a minute, there was no sound to be heard. I ran outside to see what was happening.

There was a pink coloured Pokemon standing outside, it was no Gengar.

Sabrina and Leaf sat on the ground clapping as the Pokemon tilted it's two fingers, both of different hands, here and there.

I pointed the Pokedex towards it.

'Clefable, a Fairy Pokémon. It has an acute sense of hearing. It can easily hear a pin being dropped nearly 1,100 yards away', explained the Pokedex.

I walked forward and shook Leaf and Sabrina to wake them up.

'What ?', said Sabrina. 'A Clefable ?'.

'I thought it was a Gengar', said Leaf.

'The shadow looked alike. But eeeww', said Sabrina.

'What ?', I asked.

'Do you know what was that fragrance that pulled us here ?', asked Sabrina.

'What was it ?', asked Leaf.

Sabrina started laughing.

'What ?', I asked. 'I am curious'.

'Don't laugh, but it's gross', said Sabrina. 'That was Clefable's fart'.

'Gross', said Leaf.

I laughed at them. 'You two were attracted to a fart ? That's hilarious', I said.

Sabrina, using her psychic powers levitated me in the air and slammed me into the ground.

Sabrina and Leaf laughed.
