The Unknown Pokémon (Red)

'Red, you caught an Articuno ?', asked Professor Oak. 'Good, but you cannot battle with a legendary Pokemon unless the opponent has one'.

'I know that, Professor', I said. 'I'm here in Lavender Town to meet Mr. Fuji'.

'Mr. Fuji ?', said Oak and smiled. 'Okay'.

He shut off the PC and I walked away after logging out. I tried to remember where his house was located and finally found it.

'Ah, you're here after a long time', said Mister Fuji.

'Hello, Mister Fuji', I said.

'There must be some reason for you to come here', said Mister Fuji. 'Tell me'.

'Yes, Mister Fuji', I said. 'I want to know about Mewtwo'.

Mr. Fuji's face went blank. 'That was my past, I don't talk about it anymore. I created a clone of Mew which was a monster in reality. That thing broke my lab, and I got retired after that year, I stopped my work as a Cloning expert', said Mr. Fuji.

'What did it do ?', I asked.

'It killed my colleagues, destroyed the lab which people now call Pokemon Mansion, and it maybe still alive', said Mr. Fuji. 'Iy can still be alive'.

'But where could it be ?', I asked.

'There is no such place in Kanto where it could hide', said Mr. Fuji.

'And-', I said, interrupted by a man.

'Are you Red ?', asked the man.

'Yes', I said.

'You have a call from Professor Oak', said the man. 'In the PokeCentre'.

'Gotta go, Mr. Fuji', I said. 'Thank you'.

'Anytime', said Mr. Fuji.

I rushed back to the PokeCentre and talked to Professor Oak.

'Red, come back', said Oak. 'Blue has been through an accident'.

I turned off the PC and flew to Pallet Town on Charizard. Mr. Fuji waved to me and said ,'Take care'.

'I will and you too Mister Fuji', I said.

Charizard flew to Pallet Town. It took us a few hours to reach back to Pallet. The weather turned cloudy and the sky was brownish orange in color.

Charizard landed outside Professor Oak's Lab. I ran inside to look where Blue was, but I found nobody in the Lab.

I looked for Blue in his house. 'Blue' I said. Blue lied on bed with many bandages, on his head, hands and around the neck.

'What happened ?', I asked.

'I heard about some sightings of a starnge Pokemon in Cerulean. I went there and saw the Pokemon and it this to me', said Blue.

'Doctor has said that he'll be on the bed for a few days', said Oak.

'Take care of yourself, Blue. So, what was the Pokemon like ?', I asked.

'Purple-ish, humanoid, used Barrier Attack', said Blue.

'Barrier attack ?', said Oak. 'Psychic type'.

I pulled out my Pokedex from my pocket, turned it on and searched for every humanoid psychic types in the dex.

'Purple-ish ? Was it a Mime or a Jynx ?', I asked, I knew Mime was not purple but it was a nearby shade still.

'Not Mime or Jynx', said Blue.

'Mew ?', I asked.

'It's face was actually like a Mew', said Blue.

'But you said it was humanoid', I said. 'Mew can't even stand on it's two legs, as far as I know'.

'I said it wasn't Mew', said Blue.

'Red, whatever it was, it wasn't a Pokemon', said Oak. 'I'm afraid that Cerulean is in danger'.

'Where in Cerulean ?', I asked. 'Blue, where was that Pokemon ?'.

'In Cerulean Cave', said Blue. 'It's a monster, it has the power to kill anyone'.

'I will go and battle it, it wouldn't harm anyone else', I said. 'I have to go'.

I walked in the sitting area where Mom was sitting, talking to Daisy.

'Red, the house is fixed, thanks to Blue. I'm sorry for him though', said Mom. 'You could go home if you want'.

'No', I said. 'I'll go flying with Charizard'.

I walked outside, Charizard waited for me outside, I sat on him and he flew up.

'Cerulean City', I said.

Charizard flapped his wings and flew towards the Floral Lagoon City.
