Rocket Mania Part-1 (Red)

Cloudy was the weather and the breeze was continuous. The way wasn't wide enough. There was wooden wall on one side and water on the other.

We were somewhere near Vermillion according to the GPS.

Leaf held her hat with one hat and her bag's strap with the other.

Continuing now wasn't a wise choice as weather was predictable. It was partially dark in late afternoon, cloudy and windy.

It was quite obvious it was going to rain.

'There should be a way to Vermillion from here', said Leaf.

'Maybe. And these walls, these walls are pointless', I said, kicking the wooden wall.

'I think I might fall', said Leaf.

'Careful, the water is deep', I said.

'I know that', said Leaf.

We walked while looking at our feet and with fear too.

After a thirty minute struggle, a gateway came in sight.

We rushed towards it but our way was blocked by a massive sleeping Pokemon.

'What is that giant thing ?', asked Leaf.

I pointed my Pokedex towards it.

'Snorlax, it is not satisfied unless it eats over 880 pounds of food every day. When it is done eating, it goes promptly to sleep', explained the Pokedex.

'Can it attack ?', I asked the Pokedex.

'Yes, while sleeping and when it's awake', explained the Pokedex.

'Can we wake it up and ask it to go somewhere else ?', asked Leaf.

'No, I'll catch it', I said.

'Okay, but how will you wake it up ?', asked Leaf.

'I have something', I said.

I searched my bag for the Pokeflute that Mr.Fuji gave to me.

I pulled it out.

'What is that ?', asked Leaf.

'When I was in Lavender Town, an old man gave it to me and said, it could wake up any Pokemon from sleep', I said.

'And do you know how to play a flute ?', asked Leaf.

'Apparently not', I said. 'But I can try'.

I played the Pokeflute. I thought what I played sounded like Beethoven's Fur Elise but Leaf had her hands on her ears.

It was alright till Snorlax woke up in rage.

'I don't think he likes your music', said Leaf.

'Hey, it was Fur Elise. Everyone loves it', I said.

'Um- I'm sure the music or I must say that noise was random', said Leaf, panicked.

Snorlax raged towards us.

'I know just what to do', I said. 'Go Bulbasaur'.

Snorlax used Headbutt.

'Bulbasaur, careful. Don't fall', I commanded. 'Use Razor Leaf'.

Snorlax used Tackle.

'Bulbasaur, Leech Seed'.

Snorlax used Belly Drum and gained some health.

'Bulbasaur, use Vine Whip'.

Snorlax fell back. It got up and used Headbutt.

'Now, use Tackle'.
