Chapter 16

I woke up the next morning with Sweet Pea's arm around my waist. I yawned and tried to slip from Sweet Pea's grasp but it hurt my side. I softly winched in pain, he's arm slowly fell off my waist and I was able to slip out until he tighter his grip and pulled me back in. "Ah! Screw you!" I shouted. He kissed my neck, "Hm.. your cute Em." I laughed and kissed his lips. "I know." I winked and climbed out of bed. I put my shirt back on and went to the bathroom. He followed shortly behind me. I grabbed my brush, "Never touched it huh?" I asked him turning around with my brush in hand. "Nah too lazy." He joked and kissed the top of my head. I brushed though my knotted hair and did my makeup.

I walked out of the bathroom. "Didn't touch my makeup either? Who even are you?" I joked sitting down next to him. "I was debating if I should've given it back to Jug, because you look better without it." He said climbing on top of me. "Dear God Sweet Pea." I whispered. He smirked and grabbed my thighs. "Not in the mood right now Sweet Pea." I whispered. Toni and Fangs came in the trailer. "Dear God!!" Toni shouted covering her eyes. Fangs smiled and laughed. Toni slapped his shoulder and Sweet Pea climbed off of me. "So, tomorrow is Fourth of July. We were thinking..." Toni said. "That us, Jug, Betty, Cheryl, Archie, and Kevin could get together." I finished. "Em... Topaz." "Shush Sweet Pea, this is happening, whether I have to drag you there myself." I said turned my head to look at him with a cute smile. He rolled his eyes, "Fine." I smiled and kisses his cheek, "Thanks."

All of us got together at Betty's house. We stood around the table, "Betty- oh, you have friends over." Mrs. Copper said walking in the living room. Sweet Pea, Toni, Fangs, and I looked up. "And Some Serpent friends." She said looking at us. We all rolled our eyes. "Technically I'm not a Serpent." I whispered. Sweet Pea put his arm around me and we kept planning for Fourth Of July. "We could come to my house, we have a pool." Cheryl recommended. "Awesome idea Cher." I said writing it down. "I call food!" Toni said. "I call pool equipment!" Fangs shouted smiling. We all took our own jobs. "I am not bringing the booze." Jughead said. "Well it's the only job." Kevin said. "Fine." Jug said putting his hand on the table. We all laughed and smiled. It was almost 8 pm. "Okay, is Serpents should get back to the Southside." Toni said. Fangs, Toni, Jughead, Sweet Pea and I went back to the Southside.
