Chapter 5

I woke up the next morning with the sun shining on my face and again it was the same routine; wake up, brush my teeth, get dressed, have breakfast, go do my hair, wait for Shawn to text me and then get my coat on and go. It's the same every morning and always has been. "Hey" Everyone says as me and Shawn arrive at school. "So cheerleader tryouts today at lunch! You excited?" Lily asks me. "Uh Yeah I suppose, I just really want to get it you know?" I say. "Yeah I know what you mean but I'm sure you will!" Lily says happily. I smile at her as a way of saying thank you. "Yeah I'm sure you'll do well" Shawn says as he placed his arm around me. "And I'll be there anyway, I have basketball practice too at lunch in the sports hall so I'll watch" he says  with a reassuring smile. I look up at him and place a soft kiss on his lips as the bell goes. "Okay I've got to go but I'll see you at break" Shawn says as he kisses me on the cheek and walks in the other direction to his music lesson, I smile as I watch him leave. "C'mon let's go" Grayson says. "Argh I love him" I say smiling as I walk with Grayson. "Yeah I noticed" he reply's. Honestly Grayson needs to be in a relationship he'd be the best boyfriend, apart from Shawn obviously.
SHAWNS POV.
It's 11:50. Only ten minutes till lunch and I need to leave this classroom as soon as the bell goes as I want to see Violet and tell her she's going to do great at the try outs, I don't want to miss her or get there too late.
I quietly pack my stuff up early and I tap the table nervously as I watch the clock. The clock hits 12:00 and I run out the classroom.
VIOLETS POV.
Lunch arrives and it's cheerleading tryouts, so me and Lily go to the girls changing rooms and get changed into our PE kits. "You'll do great" Lily says as we walk into the sports hall. "Yeah you too" I reply. As we walk in we notice that Cheryl is judging who gets onto the cheerleading team. "Cheryl? Why is she doing it?" I ask in shock. "Mainly because she's the head cheerleader" Lily reply's also surprised. "Oh no it's Cheryl?" Shawn says as he walks over and places his arm round me. "You'll be fine" Shawn says. "She hates me, there's no way she'll let me be on the team" I say disappointed. "You will I promise" Shawn says. "Anyway I've got to go, but I'll be watching you and like I said you'll do amazing" Shawn says as he kisses me on the cheek and goes to the other side of the gym.
Me and Lily had worked on a routine together and she likes Lily so hopefully she'll let me.
