I open the door and run down my front steps barefooted but I don't care. "So that's how you're gonna be?" I yell at him full of rage. Shawn looks at me shocked, I guess he wasn't expecting me to see. "I'm single aren't I?" He argues back which is true. His response takes me back, that's a very good point, he is single, I'm not his girlfriend anymore I can't be mad at him this isn't cheating. "It's Cheryl, how low can you get?" I shout at him. "You don't even like her, you hate her actually" I say as I walk closer to him. "Yeah well I don't care and besides it's not of you're business" he says back. "You slept with her didn't you?" I say quietly as it all sinks in. "Yeah I did, I slept with her and it felt great" he says back and it feels like a knife to my heart. "You're not the boy I fell in love with, I don't know who you are but this is not who I love" and with those words the anger drains from his face and sadness fills. "I'm done with you, I never want to go near you again" I say as a tear rolls down my cheek. We give each other one last look and I walk back to my house.
