Chapter 14

Monday arrives and it's the same morning routine except this time I wanted to walk to school by myself, I didn't though I don't have the heart to do that.
"Hey" I say as I leave my house as walk down the stairs to Shawn. "Morning" he says as he hugs me and this time the hug is quick. We don't talk much on the way to school as I had my earphones in and listened to music and Shawn didn't attempt to talk to me.
First period starts. Me and Shawn walk in and take our seats, no hug, no kiss no nothing, we act as if we barely know each other. Cheryl then walks in glowing with happiness. She takes her seat next to me and gives me a look, a look I can't describe and it isn't a good one.
"How's you and Shawn?" She whispers to me during class. "None of your business" I reply as I make no eye contact with her. Class comes to an end and after the lesson I storm out and follow Cheryl.
"Hey, can you stay out of me and Shawn's business?" I say. "Or what? You know I didn't even convince him to kiss Rebecca he done it himself" she says with a smirk. "Back off, he isn't yours" I say. "Are you threatening me?" She asks as her smile fades and I smile. "No, this is just fun girl talk" I say smiling. "Believe me this is just the start and I'm not even doing anything, Shawn's doing it to himself" She says. "And you know I thought you and Shawn were the best couple? Can't be broken, full of love and what every couple aspires to be, turns out that's bullshit" Cheryl adds as she then turns away and walks off. Is she right?
