"Was the really necessary? Did he have to make a huge scene like that?" I say as I wipe my tears away and look into the mirror in the girls bathroom. "He's angry, it's understandable" Grayson says as he tries to reason with me. "Understandable? I know he's mad and so am I but I never done that" I say. "And to say that, all that in front of half the school, makes me sick" I add looking at Grayson but I can't help but notice that Grayson looks odd, like he's confused. "I think I should go, I mean for Shawn to assume that we are more than friends must be weird, this looks bad if I'm with you now, I should go" He says and leaves before I can respond. Truthfully I didn't want him to leave, I wanted him to stay and I hate myself for feeling that.
SHAWNS POV:
My eyes are shut tight as Lily pulls the glass out of my hand, well the big shard. "There isn't a lot of glass... surprisingly" Lily says with a little laugh. "Okay, that it" She says as she puts tissue on it and lets the blood soak into it. I look at her as she focuses on my hand but I focus on her and for some reason a sudden urge comes over me.
GRAYSONS POV:
I leave Violet and go to find Shawn. "I bet he's in the boys changing room" I mumble to myself. I run to the changing room and see Lily and Shawn, too close to be friends. "Oh I see" I say full of shock. "Hypocrite" I add. "It's not what it looks like, she's just helping me with my hand" Shawn says as she stands up. "Really? It's not that different from me and Vi then" I say not breaking my eye contact with him. "Her name is Violet not Vi" Shawn says and I can see the anger reach breaking point. "See that's my point" Shawn says as he comes closer to me. "I'm your friend, this shouldn't be happening" I say not wanting to fall out with my friend. Shawn gives me one last look before he punches me.
