Chapter 23

"What happened?" Grayson asks as I walk into my bedroom crying. "I don't think that, I d- don't think he's going to, i d- don't know" I say as I cry into his arms. "It's okay, it going to be alright" Grayson says as he holds me close and comforts me. "It's just I thought I'd be okay, I really did" I say a little while later. "Things like this take time" Grayson says. "I just need to forget, I- I need to forget everything even if it's only for a few moments" I say as I wipe my tears away and I look up and see Grayson staring into my eyes. I look away awkwardly. "It's just too much" I add as I hug Grayson and he hugs me back. "Can, can you stay here for a bit?" I ask. "Of course" Grayson reply's and we both lay on my bed and he places his arm around me as he comforts me. I close my eyes and shut the world out.
It's a year ago and I'm in my bedroom with Tom.
"Okay It's time! He likes you and you like him!" Tom said as I sit at my dressing table.
"Then why Thomas hasn't he said or done anything? He hasn't flirted or anything" I replied but I couldn't help but smile as I thought about Shawn's smile. "What!? He flirts with you all the time! How can you not notice!??" Tom said sitting up on my bed. "Okay tonight you're going to tell him how you feel" Tom added. "You've got this" Tom said as he came over to me. "Now Let's pick a nice outfit, that you think he'll like and most importantly you like" He said as he opened my closet and looked at my clothes.

I wake up suddenly and it looks like late afternoon and my bed is empty but there's a note.

A smile comes across my face, I haven't felt that sensation for a while.
