Chapter 45

Violet is now my priority, I'm not loosing her as a friend. As soon as school finishes I make my way to Violets and she isn't home yet so I wait outside on the bench on her porch. I keep going over what I'm going to say to her and how I'm going to say it. "Shawn?" I hear her say. I look up as quickly as possible and she looks shocked. "Can we talk?" I ask. She looks at me for a second as if she's debating whether to give me a chance or not but she does as she slowly nods and joins me on the bench. "I'm sorry got everything, I'm sorry for kissing a different girl, I was dumb and stupid for kissing someone that wasn't you, I'm not sure what was going through my head and I was dumb as hell" I say and I take a deep breath. "And for the way I spoke to you I shouldn't of spoken to you like that I was angry and taking it out on you and that was wrong" I pause for a second and look at her and she has tears in her eyes. "The stuff that happened with Cheryl was horrible and I was trying to get back at you and I can't apologise enough" I finish and I look at her and a tear falls down her cheek and I can feel myself tearing up too.
"The thing with Grayson-" "it's okay Vi" I say, she has nothing to apologise for. "No I need to say sorry" "you don't, this only all happened because of me" I say. "I'm happy for you and Grayson" I say smiling and a tear falls down my cheek, i am happy for her. I put my arms out to hug her and she hugs me and it feels like old times, don't go there I can't. I can't think about old times. We sit here for a while and it feels good to have her back in my life.
