Chapter 28

I walk into my maths classroom and I see Vi, I should probably start calling her Violet not Vi. She looks at me but looks away without an emotion on her face, like I am nobody to her. I then look over at Grayson who smiles at me and I smile back but not happily more like a fake happy smile and I think he noticed as he looks away a little confused however I think he knows why or maybe he doesn't but it isn't that confusing honestly. I take my seat and open my book, I feel like everyone's staring at me, like they know something I don't. "Shawn why are you late? You dork even say sorry I'm late sir" Sir snaps at me. "Uh Yeah sorry I'm late sir" I say hesitantly. "You need to start learning some respect" he says as he turns away and carries on with the lesson.
VIOLETS POV:
Shawn isn't here yet, maybe he's bunking off school? I doubt his mum would let him, he's probably over slept. Why do I even care? I don't.
The classroom door opens and it's Shawn. He looks awful, his hair is messy, he is wearing a top with a black hoodie with a dark red jacket underneath it, he looks pale and has dark circles underneath his eyes. He looks at me with a miserable glare as he keeps walking and takes his seat.
The whole lesson my mind was occupied with Shawn. The bell goes and everyone gets up but Shawn leaves first. "What's up with him?" Grayson asks as we both leave. "I guess he's just taking the break up badly?" I suggest. "No I think it's something else" he reply's. "Well go and ask him" I say smiling slightly. "Yeah I guess you're right" Grayson reply's.
SHAWNS POV:
Lunch arrives and I haven't spoken to anyone, maybe that's how I want it.
"Hey Shawn!" I hear someone say from behind and I turn around and see Grayson.
"You Alright?" He asks concerned. "Fine" I snap.
"You don't look it" Grayson says back. "I guess I just don't want to talk about it" I say annoyed, can't he leave me alone? "You can tell me" Grayson says supportively.
"I don't want to!" I say slightly yelling and a few people turn and look at me. "Just leave me alone" I say as I walk away.
