I woke up the next morning to my phone buzzing on Niall's bedside table. I quickly reached to grab it, not wanting to wake up Niall.

"Hello?" I said, my voice was tired.

"Hey!" Tinley said through the phone cheerfully.

"Tin, it's four AM. Why are you calling me?"

"There's something I need to tell you... Are you with anyone?" She sounded serious.

"Uhm, no, I'm alone." I lied, it could be about Liam.

"It's about Liam." She said. Called it. I turned on the speaker and nudged Niall to wake up. He turned to me with tired eyes, god they were adorable, and said, "Hmm?" I shh'd him and pointed at my phone, and he went quiet.

"Yeah?" I said, trying to sound casual over my eagerness.

"He told me he is a... demon?" She sounded slightly confused, "did you know about this?"

"Uhm. Yeah," I stuttered, scrambling to find the right words to say, "it's something that no one should know. So please, it is very important you don't speak a word of this to anyone."

"Of course." She said.

"How much did he tell you?" I needed to know.

"A lot of stuff..." she paused, "is it true?"

"Mmyeah, and it's a serious problem. He's not like us."

"Wow, he's so... mysterious!" She giggled a bit on the other end. I wish I knew how she was taking this, "well, I'm off. I'll talk to you later. Byeeee." She said 'bye' and stretched out the 'eeeeee'.

"Yeah! Bye, Tin." I said, and we hung up the phone. I stared blankly at the ugly popcorn ceiling, with Niall right beside me making a strange face.

"I don't understand." He finally said, "why would he just tell her?"

"I don't know either. Somethings up." I said, then sat up to get out of his bed. I wore one of his old baggy tee-shirts as pajamas, I never want to take it off, it smells just like him.

"Want to have lunch together today?" I said as I was opening the door to his room.

"Sure thing, babe." He winked at me and smiled as I left his room. I walked down the hallway towards to girls dormitory with yesterdays clothes in hand, and tried not to make eye contact with the other people in the hall. A guy whistled, and I looked at him with a confused look, was he whistling at me? His eyes went up and down by body, and I realized I was walking out with only a baggy tee-shirt that exposed a little bit of my underwear. I hurried down the hall, desperately wanting to change. Once I was in my dorm room, I was relieved to see my roommate not there, and changed into regular clothes. I fixed my hair and brushed my teeth, preparing for my first class at college. It was nerve racking, but I was able to calm down with a little bit of television. It was time to go, so I grabbed my things and left my room. I realized how quickly my senior year of high school went, and started to miss it a little. All the people I grew to know, were all gone, and that saddened me.

I was interrupted from my thoughts when I saw Liam walk into the same classroom as I was about to. I stopped for a moment and collected myself before entering the door, I needed to talk to him. I walked into the classroom, which was surprisingly large and quickly sat myself next to him. He gave me a unpleasant look and scooted his chair away from me slightly.

"Seriously?" I said.

"Why won't you and Niall get off my back?" He said angrily.

"Why did you tell Tinley about... you know." I didn't want to say it out loud in front of the class.
