I got on the bus and sat alone, putting my earphones in my ear and playing my playlist. Thankfully, Joey didn't sit next to me, he sat by himself too

I think I've upset him a bit by basically saying he's not my type. I know I was lying but he doesn't. I feel really bad but I can't just tell him everything can I?

He doesn't have a clue that I know about his twin. I just don't understand how I never knew about the 2 of them, surely if you had a twin at a different school word would spread quick?

Anyway, why should I care?

The bus came to my stop and I thanked the driver before walking off through the alleyway to my empty house. I unlocked the door and locked it behind me once again

I completed all of my homework just before my phone started ringing, it was Joey. I answered, extremely confused

"Joey?"

"Hey, Reign, I'm having a party at mine next weekend, I just wondered if you and your pals wanna come?" He asked

"Erm sure, I guess" I replied

"Okay good. It starts at 8 at mine, see you there"

"Bye" I said before I ended the call

He's never invited us to his parties even though we're the 'popular ones' but I suppose it's better than sitting on my phone all night

Just as I was about to put my phone down and go and change into my pyjamas my phone rang again

I picked my phone up and saw Jay's name but on a FaceTime screen

Are you actually joking?

I look horrible!

I answered the call anyway

"Heyyy!" Jay shouted

I rolled my eyes

"Hi"

"We're gonna have to be quick because I'm going out with family soon" he said

"Okay show me and I'll help" I replied

He flipped the camera and showed me the sheet full of indirect proportion questions

"Are you joking? They're easy" I said

"They're not, I can't do them" he replied

I laughed a little and helped him through the questions. I basically told him what to do and he copied, he still doesn't know how to do it but I tried

"Okay thank you! I gotta go, Joey's coming back soon and then I have to go to the shop with him" he sighed

"Oh are you coming to our party?"

I nodded

"Okay good, I'll see you there. Thank you for the help" he said

"No problem" I smiled

"Bye Reign" he said

I waved goodbye before ending the call. I swear if my phone rings again I'm throwing it in the bin. I walked upstairs and changed into my pyjamas, flopping onto my bed

I opened snapchat and began typing in our girly group chat

Joeys invited us to his party next weekend. We going? X

I locked my phone and switched on my tv, turning over to Netflix and watching the next episode of Riverdale

It's been one of my favourite shows for a while but it kind of went downhill after the first season so I stopped watching it as much but, I heard season 3 is good so I'm catching up on it

I've almost finished season 2 now, I only have this episode to watch. I sat watching peacefully when my phone lit up

It was my dad

Hey, I'll be arriving home a little bit later tonight, I've only just been told about a meeting I have to attend🙄

Okay, I'll cook dinner and leave some for you

Thank you, I'll be home as quick as I can

Okay :)

I stayed at home for the rest of the night alone, falling asleep just after 10, unaware of my dad returning home
