My nerves were riling me to ask her

We'd just come back from our 6th date. I'd taken us through a MacDonald's drive through before parking up in an almost empty car park. It was dark outside and I could only see her face because of the one street light that shone down through my windscreen

For god sake, just ask her you wimp

"Uh, Reign?"

"Yeah?" She replied

"I, uh. I was wondering if you uh, if you wanted to be my girlfriend?" I asked nervously

Her hair whipped around as the wind blew through the open car window. Sipping on the sprite I got her, she turned and looked at me with those eyes I began to fall in love with again.

"Sure, I'd love to" she smiled

"You make me the happiest man in the world. You know that?"

She just smiled

"I'm glad I can be that woman"

"You know, I'd never pick anyone else other than you" I said honestly

"Why me though. I mean like, there's so many girls in the world who are so much prettier and better than me. So why me?" She questioned

"You're naive. The the most beautiful person I've ever met" I replied

She laughed

"Okay, okay. Enough of the sappy shit birlem"

I chuckled along with her

Getting my girl back was debatably one of the bed days of my life
