Reign

The blood drained from me as I recognised his voice. The door opened and the light switched on the reveal the last person I wanted to see

Jay

I looked up to see Joey above me, an evil smirk plastered on his smug face

"What the fuck are you doing with my brother?!" He shouted walking towards me

I was completely lost for words as I felt my eyes well up

"I- uh- I-" I struggled to get my words out

"So you can't even tell the difference between me and him?" He asked pointing at Joey

"It was dark, I couldn't see" I cried

"Oh so now you'll just go to bed with anyone and assume it's me?" He shouted angrily making me flinch

"No I-"

"Forget it, we're over" he huffed

"You're coming with me" he said grabbing Joey by his shirt and dragging him outside the bedroom

I couldn't help but cry my eyes out. How stupid of me not to check if it was Jay, knowing Joey would attempt such a trick as well

I sobbed and sobbed, inhaling the scent of Jay from his bedsheets that I laid on in a ball. I could hear faint chants from outside but I ignored them and continued to ball my eyes out

The chants became louder and louder until they became almost unbearable. I walked out the bedroom and saw the whole house empty

Walking down the stairs, I saw the front door wide open and teens outside. Intrigued, I walked out to see them fighting, all the guests watching them

"Fight!" Was the only word that I could hear and it echoed all around the block

I pushed my way through the crowd to get a better look at them. Joey swung for Jay but he dodged it, managing to punch Joey in his jaw

Their knuckles were bloody as well as their face and their clothes

I ran through the remaining crowd and in between them, pushing them away from each other

"What the fuck are you doing?" I screamed

"Reign, leave" Jay said to me emotionless

"Well leave then, you should be ashamed of yourselves" I shouted at the crowd, ignoring Jay's request

They all looked and walked away from the fight guiltily. I stepped away from the twins to dry my tears, soon to hear a loud crack and a groan

I turned around to see Joey holding his nose as blood ran from it onto his shirt

"Would you stop" I cried to Jay, pushing him away from his bloodied twin

"Leave" he snarled at me

"No" I retorted

"Reign, I said leave!" He bellowed over me

His body seemed to grow and tower over me even more as the words fell from his mouth and into my ears. I flinched and sobbed loudly at his tone

His face softened as he realised how much he'd scared me

"Reign I didn't mean to" he said holding my upper arms, attempting to pull me into a hug

I stumbled back out of his touch

"You're right Jay, we are over"
