We spoke about our pasts for hours on end, enjoying the extremely overpriced meals in front of us. I slowly chewed my pasta as I listened to him

"My brother and I looked identical until we were like 14. But then I grew my hair out and he kept his short" he said, taking a sip of his wine

"Oh right. Who's older?" I asked

"Me, of course" he replied cockily

I couldn't help but laugh at his sarcasm and confidence. So far, he was a genuine, sweet person who complimented me well and I was truly enjoying this date

We soon finished our meals and just talked while we finished our drinks. After a small argument, we decided we'd split the bill. I felt bad as the meal was extremely expensive for what it was

We finally walked out of the restaurant and as before, he opened the car door for me, allowing me to sit in before closing it afterwards. The drive back to my apartment was quiet but not silent

We made small talk, discussing the restaurant and the food. He soon pulled up outside my apartment block before I unbuckled my seat belt

"Hey, uh, do you want to go on another date sometime. You know, only if you enjoyed this one I mean, you really don't have to" he rambled

I giggled

"I'll go on another date with you, sure" I smiled, placing my hand on top of his before taking it swiftly back off and getting out of the car

"Do you want me to walk you to your apartment?" I heard him say through his open car window as I walked around his car

"It's okay, thank you" I smiled, kissing his cheek from outside the car before walking away

"Text me when you're home safe" I shouted as I turned around before walking into my apartment block

I made my way up the stairs until I was outside my door. Pulling out my key and unlocking the door, I walked in and locked the door behind me, hanging my bag and jacket up on the hooks

Jogging up to my room, I removed my heels and my tight dress, dropping them onto my bed before grabbing a new towel from my cupboard

I peeled my fake lashes off, tied my hair up and walked into my bathroom, turning the shower on and waiting for the water to get hot. When it finally was a suitable temperature, I got in and scrubbed my body for the second time today

I washed off my make up and made sure all the soap was gone before turning the water off and stepping out, drying my body and face with my towel

I moisturised my face before letting my hair down and lightly brushing out the knots. I heard my phone ding in my room, making me see who it was

I smiled at our conversation before hanging my towel up to dry and slipping on my silk pyjama too and shorts. Switching off the lights, I tucked myself up in my bed

Ethan was the only man on my mind
